  • Cold turkey is the better way to go off opiates. Just go to jail they do not give you anything. Its fun :-)

  • 2 years on oxy's for me. coming off was aweful. i was sick for a month, but deathly ill for more than a week. at that time, afterward, i was looking for help. it's over me. i forgot about all that stuff and i won't have to deal with again. good luck.

  • you should smoke pot for pain it will help btw i know all about the blues and the op and they are so bad coming off but they work well but really some pot will help your pain

  • I'd like to talk with you a litle bit Kev. Did you lose your job and how are you doing now. Lots of things but not here in the open. Contact me here and I will link you up if I can without giving my e-mail to the world...

  • Telling someone to stop F'N whining while they are going through this kind of thing, I mean how much more inmature can you get. DiverKev I think you will be fine because you are really just looking to get rid of your pain and I dont believe for one minute that you are any type of junkie. I think that you are strong enough to stop anything that you know is going to destroy you in the long run. You just keep doing what you are doing and Good Luck to You Kev, I wish the best for you & I know U can

  • you need to heal, you need therapy, before you make videos buddy! ya, okay, you were sick. got it. so what's the solution? I'm turning you off, can't stand your whining.

  • @Robb9096 Thank you for your comment. I have watched your videos and I think they are very good. This video was made over three years ago and since then my life has greatly improved. I left this video up so that I can use it as a reminder of how far I have come in my recover. If I waited until I healed to make videos I would not

    have any videos on YouTube.

  • @diverkev That's your choice buddy. Someone looking for help might be interested in a certain level of credibility. You're better now? Make another one, you want to help and you have the knowlege, skills necessary to reach out to others. Show them your stuff buddy! You're the man! Send me copy. By then I'll be off this crap, two years for me. I'm coming off and I'll be dying in another month from withdrawls: I know my schedule (done this before). lol

  • @Robb9096 I agree that I do whine a little ( A lot). This was done a few years back, but I'm better now. I keep this video up so that I can watch it and appreciate my life today. I'm much better now after getting the help. This isn't the representation of all of my videos, and I have some good ones. Thanks for your comment and I do agree

that I do whine. a lot .I don't understand why I have so many hits on this video.

  • I think it is a life saver for you that you called 911 and got help. Short term (opiates do two things). One they take away the pain, and when misused gives you a high. If you are able to find relief through therapy you are much better off. In regards to a TENS Unit, I purchased a new one in 2010, and it is not a cure all, but does give you some relief. The one thing I know it does do is take your mind off of the pain. Good Luck and take care.

  • @swensonj43 Thank you for your response. I have learned a lot from responses like yours and others who have been there.

  • Hey everyone, I too am an opiate addict. I was using IV heroin everyday for over 4 years. I got on suboxone at first without insurance and had to pay $7 per pill for 90 pills per month plus Dr. fees, which was more than $1000 a month just to stay clean. I've since gotten great insurance which allows me to get all my suboxone for free and I have a lot of extra suboxone scripts left over. I am willing to help anybody out who wants to get clean but doesn't have the funds to do it. PM me.

  • are you a man or woman plz clarify lol

  • @McDanko

    I'm a man. Let's see some of your video's

  • are u retarded?

  • I had cold night sweats BEFORE I started treating my pain. Oxycodone gave me my life back. I have been on the same dosage for three years. Of course I take my med. as perscribed. I realize that I am always going to have to deal w/some pain but that I can handle. What I couldnt handle anymore was waking up in sweat soaked sheets and having to crawl to the bathroom

  • Question to anyone that has relapsed from painkillers. 10 days clean and i feel great other than the fact i have not got any sleep in thoes ten days so i got sick of it and did 15 mg of perc just so i could sleep. will i go through all the same shit i did after the first couple of days of detox. Or have i gone long enough that it wont make me feel like shit. because i dont want to have to go through all that over 15 mg.

  • this dude looks like he has a mild case of downs syndrome.

  • Y dont you just find a new doctor?? Theres no reason why u cant

  • sucks u didnt know how serious opiate addiction before u started...

  • ya them oc's are the shit...

  • dude ur a fuckin loser.

  • I took an oxy 40 and wow there nothing like vicodins/norcos/loratabs. Now I know how people get hooked on them I just dont see how easy they are to get though.

  • I take lorcets for anxiety attacks because it works...They have other pills for anxiety that they try to put you on and take daily but they don't work and I refuse to take pills all the time...I wanted something that I could take only when I need it as in when an attack happens and lorcets work...xanax does nothing for me its like a sleeping pill and I don't understand how people get addicted to them.

  • going through withdrawls from oxycodone (main ingredient in roxicet aka percocet) is fucking horrible. I speak from experience. Although I was not on a oxy/apap diet, I was taking straight up oxys which made it even worse. No one should ever have to cold turkey off that shit, it's dangerous and horrible. The only way I made it through it was by drinking mass amounts of vodka and smoking chronic 24/7 for about a month or so, even then the psychological effects lasted for months.

  • Hey everyone, im addicted to marijuana. Im just so in love with maryjane, that im currantly searching for a wife named mary. The plan is when i have kids, is to name my first born daughter mary. i think i have a problem with pot

  • nah are you sure oyur pot aint laced with some pcp or somthing?

  • OC80s and xanax are for sale online through my connect. Hes looking for referrals, so if anyone is interested, email me at the email address in my profile and I can hook you up with him.

  • To all seeking help with opiates: You need to look into treatment with a drug called Ibogaine. Ibogaine is an addiction interruptor, not a maintenance drug like methadone or suboxone. Ibogaine will stop your withdrawal, elevate your mood, and stop cravings. I have Ibogaine videos faved on my chanel. It is not legal in the U.S., but there are clinics in Mexico. Two I know of are 1. Dream House 2. Villa Serena. Good luck to all!!

  • off.. Not every1 who does have an addiction is the thrown around term "Junkie".. A junkie to me is sum1 who'd rip of his own mother to buy sum dope that wont even get him high.. steal from little kids, sell that shit to get high one time.. thats a junkie.. & even then its the drug not the person.. It really is. When ur addicted & have no dope.. You can think of nothin but gettin that high.. even a taste of that high. Fuck bu small minded idiot. =]

  • I agree that it is not cool to say "fuck you junkie". But as far as the word "junkie" goes, I'm disappointed you have attached such a stigma to the word. I am a junkie (addicted to oxy) but I don't steal or doing anything bad to anyone else. To me it sounds that you have accepted your addiction, but you are, at the same time, in denial about it. I am at the same point you are at. I don't want to disassociate from my friends but sometimes it is necessary. Good luck with everything!

  • So its hard 4 me 2. Im around temptation all day.. They tell me at group to lose friends & numbers & ect.. I cant just up n tell my bff of 15 yrs that Im not talkin to her n e more cuz IM AN ADDICT! I understand its a risk but whatevr its my life. You dont quit unless you want to anyways.. & if u want to then u make those decisions 4 urself.. & that comment that said fuck off junkie really pissed me off. so sick of ppl usin that word like that. I dont rob my friends n shit but im a "junkie" fuck

  • Shoots.. But hadnt done that in 2-3 yrs. Well sum1 had H around n she got ahold of sum of it.. & me n my man were doing it with her.. I loved it. I knew I shouldnt of tried it just because i have such an addictive personality but I did.. I wont ever do it again for that reason.. Just had to try it 4 myself I guess. Addiction is the hardest thing ive ever had to deal with, ever. I admire u for putting ur story out there. i want to as well, which is how I found this post. =] Im an LNA as well..

  • I love speaking out about addiction openly.. Im an opiate addict as well. Id been doing oxys, percs, morphine, fetynol everything I could get my hands on short of herione.. & Ive been seeing a doc since dec who prescribes me suboxone. (bupe).. I love it. I was secretly taking it for a yr or so b4 I got the scrpit tho. So I went to get it for free basically.. But now I do wanna quit im going to 2 groups a week.. Everything was going great.. Ive been chillen with this girl jes (my bff) & she

  • good for you bro, thax for sharing!

  • Stay strong bro, we as humans need to adapt to pain, a moderate amount, these drugs destroy the brain,,, i was hooked on o.c.'s for 6 years, stopped cold turkey, and it was THE most difficult 2-3 months in my life, i was taking anywhere from 5-8 80 mg a day,,, each day does get better though, i am a better person from my mistake...take care.

  • oh, also, I am glad that you are doing good. I hope you keep off the shit

  • WOW! I admire you. I could have never done what you did. calling 911 and then going to the hospital where u work, and all the people u work with finding out?! I am on methadone, klonopin, clonodine, and seraquil. I am not sure even how to get off all of this stuff. I am a herion and cocaine addict. I love to speedball, thats my thing. I will say that I am scared to go to jail, because I know I will get nuthin for my detox. Do u still work at the same hospital?

  • I honestly believe you could if you really wanted to. It was a matter of life or death or at least I thought it was. I was going through withdraws.

No one said anything about why I was in the ER

and Intensive Care Unit.. I worked there for two more years before I retire.

  • no, I really dont think I could. This meth crap and benzo's are way worse than any heroin, addiction, To be honest I am too afraid to even go into a rehab, because I think I would just walk out

  • I've been to rehab three times and it sucked. I had some bad days and some good. Even after

after a month I felt like crap. Four years after I still

have the craving for opiates. I have to go to AA and NA to be reminded reminded of what I will become if I don't work the program.

  • maybe if you weren't a drug addict who abused your medication from the begining you wouldn't be "subject to a life of pain" as you say. The doctors are doing the right thing by not giving you anything, you obviously are addicted and shouldn't be taking any type of narcotic or pain killer

  • Thank you for reminding me that I'm a addict . I can never forget that I am or I will relapse. You see I'm a recovering addict and alcoholic

More doctors are trying to use medications that are nonaddictive instead of Valium, Clonazapam, for anxiety.and using drugs like Tramadol for pain relief.

Addiction is not a moral weakness, it is a disease that I treat by getting involved in

    AA. or NA.

  • @Jmagale You are definitely right.

  • iv been on opiates for 2 years for back and neck pain i do love the pain relefe and the high i sometimes get but after 2 years i can function fine if a go a while whithout ( exept the pain is still there im starting to wonder if i can get adicted

  • I'm an ex-gymnast and now have a fractured spine, one herniated disc, and six bulging discs (all from gymnastics). Name an opiate in pill form, and I've been on it from doctors. I've been on only 10 mg of methadone per day for the last 5 years. My doctor now wants to put me on suboxone for my back pain. Is there anyone out there that is on suboxone for severe pain? If so, does it work? I'm still young, but I feel like I'm crippled. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks:)

  • yeah i was a diamorphine and methadone addict for about seven years, shooting up the works. the best thing you can do is a subutex detox. with a lot of willpower you can beat the addiction in 12 weeks. for anyone who wants to know.

  • i feel your pain man i do three 30 mill oxycodone i like to call em roxycotin and i need it to get me threw the day. i wish i never started, guys WAKE UP this shit sitn a joke all you young guys dont wanna go down this road, dont even try it once it turns you into a jerkoff you will steal from people just to get high. but diverkev keep posting videos and your not the only one out there im rite with you buddy. god bless

  • I feel u sir Im taking Lorcet 10 2 a day and i have a tens unit but it really does seem to help in my area everone is selling oc's hydros, or xanix i don't but im afraid to tell my doc that two 10's don't cut it it would take at least 4 or more a day in the typ of work i do. I have 4 bulging discs and two herneated and my job is labor demanding but its the best job around here so i can't just up and quit and go to a better one do u have anycomments that could maybe help e in gettinga higherdose

  • oh you poor fucker! i feel so sorry for you.

  • I'm not a poor fucker and I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me. I'm much better off than a lot of other people. I just wanted to share my experience with addiction with others. Subjects like this need to be discussed openly to reduce the stigma of addiction.

  • This guy obviously has zero life experience, probably a spoiled brat who will turn out to be nothing in life, only a looser watches youtube videos that has nothing to do with him/her and talks shit, for no reason... Don't let this 12 year old get to you...

  • fuck off junkie!

  • I can take lortabs for a few days at a time, and then my body gets use to it, so I quit taking them for a week, and then when I start back they do good. I guess you would have to decrease your dose, instead of increasing it. Because then you will need more and more, you have to try and balance it and keep the scale in the middle, some people don't know how to do this, thus things get carried away.

  • that took a lot of courage to share this with us, thank you...

  • Excuse me, if if you don't give me some more Oxys, I can, set , I can set the building on fire. Milton (i believe you have my stapler)

  • LOFL...jsj297 ur fucked up lol.

  • Thank you very much for sharing your life with us.

  • Your welcome. I hope that my experiences can help someone else out.

  • don't end up like this guy

  • OMG I thought Elton John only did coke

  • Ask your doctor to send you to a Pain Clinic. If he refuses see another doctor until they do.

  • I have a TENS machine, buy from a drugs store as they are alot cheaper.

I'm on a HUGE dose of fentanyl now,I have had ALL the opiates before, started at the weak shit and went up,now on 150ugm's an hour duogesic patches, when they run out you know it,I too have been to hospital twice, only because they ran out and I forgot to change them,I suffer from chronic pancreatitis and have developed gallstones now aswell billary colic is a bitch,TENS does help/work and drug free.

  • How does TENS work on chronic pancreatitis? I have that too & I have a hard time eating, i have to take an enzyme called Creon.Still cant eat big stuff like meat, it hurts. But I was in an accident, hit by a jet ski & this is the result of that, scar tissue on liver & small intestine, in leg & in ribs, which I broke 15 ribs, my hip is messed up & I have osteophytes on several vertabrae,& calcium depostis that keep reforming in the side of my leg, I am in constant pain.I take 3oxy a day by Dr.

  • The tens machine is just another thing to help,I stick the electrode pads one on my front exactly where it hurts and the other on my back, the signals/pulses it gives out disrupts the pain signals in your nerves from the area of pain,it really does work,I was the biggest sceptic of all.You mention not being abe to eat, same here, any food is just too much for my system so I'm on this liquid feed called Ensure,it's not too bad but I do miss real food even though it causes imense pain.

  • It is possible to take oxycodone hydrochloride and not get addicted, if you want to know how send me a message. You have nothing to lose.

  • Thanks but no thanks. It would be like switching seats on the Titanic. You may be in a different place, but you are going to drown one way or another.

  • My comment was only to people who acutally have chronic pain and cancer pain plus others who take the drug to help them with the fear of addiction. I believe you misunderstod me.

  • Yes I did misunderstand you. You are right about the fear among patients about becoming addicted to the medications. Thanks for your input.

  • I take Oxycontin for the reasons stated above&I have anxiety about taking it every day.I know my body is addicted to it bcause that is what the drug is.I did not know this when I started taking it.Now the 3 doses a day doesnt work anymore,my body has a tollerance to it,I dont want to increase it.So if it isnt working, shouldn't I quit taking it?I am scared to try, bcause I tried & had terrible withdrawl symptoms,I dont know what to do & if it is working in some ways do I want to go through this?

  • You could die if you try to kick it on your own-alone. There are subutex/sublexone clinics that can take you off oxycontin as an outpatient. I'm on 640mg/day so I can understand your concerns. It only gets worse as time passes. Good luck.

  • good luck i mean it is a hard road...your case is different from most but everyone shares the horrible withdrawl problems ooomy

  • good luck

  • YOu should see day 3!! Day one is nothing

  • what do you mean..IS IT THAT SICK???

  • i had back surg about 2 years ago and my doc gives me 5 80mg oc,s a day.i had 5 rup disc and couldnt walk.i would much rather take my oc,s and not hurt and be able to get around.tehy saved my life from constant pain.

  • same here. oxy can be a tool.

  • Sorry dude... sucks eh?

  • Exellent suggestions I have tried many of them and they work very well, but I thik if a person has to suffer imberable pain then he/she should be responsible and honest with their DR.Pain meds are not a bad thing used how perscribed and no drinking. Just my personal opinion.

  • Lucky you didnt kill yourself mixing the alchy and Codone. Seem like your down a little always look up man always!

  • Roxicet is just about the same thing as what I was on, because it has oxycodone in it. Fioricet has barbiturates in it. Both pretty nasty. Sorry to hear that you went through that, I know how you felt. Thanks for the response diverkev! Glad that you made it off the stuff.
