Bush Sr. got that deficit which caused another recession during his term, and he raised taxes. He is of course careful when choosing his words, but think about the questions of strength and weaknesses: obama gave a clear strength and weaknes, whereas the other two did a "michael scott" annwer: i work to hard, i love my work to much etc. Edwards: emotional about crapy situations making him want to act and hillary said: she is impatient and wants to get things done.

It is the reason we have Elections every 4 years, because no one is perfect, presidents can fail at many aspects. By allowing someone to legally "rule" for an indefinate amount of time, we willingly allow ourselves to be oppressed. The 1951 ratification was for limiting the AMOUNT OF TERMS, NOT LIMITING THE LENGTH OF A TERM. The unofficial limit of terms was set by George Washington at 2 terms, tradition was broken by Eisenhower who served 4 terms equaling 12 years in office. Hence the following ratification of 1951. Beautiful answer. There were so many moments like this in the debates, when her insincerity and fake toughness were contrasted with his thoughtfulness, wit and insight. The debates are where Clinton lost the nomination. I was always amazed when pundits would declare this or that debate a draw - it's moments like these when the quality of Obama's thought and character shine through.
