Homer, does Emirates fly Hamburg to Dubai or was this just the delivery site? I would imagine that Emirates would fly into FRA. Any other cities in Germany that Emirates will fly?

@sfflyer123 This video is about the delivery of the first A-380 to EK. They had a fantastic flight Hamburg-New York..and I have a video about it. On return, they invite you to the Ritz Carlton in NY for dinner and then take you with the Cadillac to the airport. Unfortunately, the Hamburg-NY service was terminated. Now they fly to FRA, HAM and MUC, but would like to fly to Berlin. So far, LH is lobbying succesfully to prevent them from doing this.

@homer3152 Interesting that LH is preventing Emirates from coming into too many hubs. I know that Cathay successfully blocked SQ from many destinations emanating from Hong Kong because they knew that SQ would take away much of their business. I suppose LH is doing the same thing. Very nice video. I will have to look for your video Hamburg-NYC. I did not see that one yet, but I will look!

Emirate has the worst service ever! If you fly coach and if you are an Indian flying from NYC to Dubai, you probably are in for some Narcissistic treatment.

DON'T FLY EMIRATES unless you are white. They treat Indians and Black people very badly.

I flew on their new A380 thrice now but the staff were the worst of any airlines I have ever been. I didn't have any issues with the ambiance or food.

Its a shitty service and arrogant staff.

this job is harsh on you physically. Remember that flight attendents are spending alot of time in pressurised cabin and increased uv exposure. Flying is very tiring physically. you cannot pretend that this job doesn't have a bad side. in order to be real you gotta point out the bad points as well as the good points. if people only ever point out the good points then you will know that its all an act

Homer, would you say business is as good as first or is first worth the extra or don't bother paying the extra because business is just as good?

It depends a bit on which aircraft you get. The private suites are very nice, though I never had them. The quality of food is identical, though you get a wider choice plus dining on demand in first. Quality of wines is better in first, and your being more pempered - although, on a relatively empty C class flight, it might end up almost as good. If money matters to you, I would go for C class..otherwise enjoy the suites in F:)
