  • I work in an American cigarette factory, and I piss on the tobacco.

  • "Made in China" always put me off..

  • I really admire the Chinese people and their determination and work ethic. I have had to deal with many of these manufacturing facilities in the last months, and I have always been treated like a Queen with the utmost respect. They seem to be perfectionists and that quality comes thru in everything I have imported. Thank you for posting this video, it is fascinating to see it for real.

  • Did they know you were coming. I think they had advance notice.

  • Nice facility..and while I agree not all Chineese makers make garbage.. its hard to tell the ones that do from the ones that dont. I mean after all, China is where lead paint on baby toys and poison in dog food came from.

But good point in showing the controlled conditions that some plants there have. And Im sure a lot of other juice makers in the USA cant even come close. So what brands of juice come from this factory? I would be willing to give them a shot.

  • what is this E-liquid for?

  • GMP procedures, huh? impressed...

  • Thanks for this video. Much respect to the chinese makers from me. In all honesty i used to think our liquids were mixed in basements and stuff, lol. Very good piece of mind knowing these liquids are taken very seriousley.

  • i bet the camera man didnt take a shower.

  • @gkBISON Dude it was on camera..

  • That looks like a first class facility. I know once it gets here then people start mixing and diluting in their garages the sell so thats American jobs right there. In china you can get parts for spacecraft or cheap plastic kazoos for birthday parties. The quality depends on what the importer allows to accept and the amount they are willing to spend. send me some juice and I can make you some vids on here. i just started and im going to tell every smoker in the world about vaping

  • By the way, I should say I'm shocked at their standards. Very impressive.

  • One can never have too much juice!

    Thanks for the factory tour.

  • Very interesting, thanks!

  • what class is that? 100 ? 1000? clean room?

  • looks amazing. you needn't speak so apologeticly. let them eat their hats...

  • very nice

  • hey ive been vaping for 2 years and ive noticed chinese liquids are better quality and vape which is why i still buy them. this is coming from i died in the wool american flag waving nationalist. but i value truth above all. however i do see how it would be easy to level this accusation at china because so many things we see from there are substandard quality. i could name many examples. anyway i love dekang juice i will vape it until i find a better one.

  • JOHNSON CREEK HAS YOUR CHINESE SAFETY REGS BEAT TO THE BONE, ON SAFETY AND CLEANLINESS, MY FRIEND!! ...and if you pay those people the equivelant of 75-150USD's a week, thats just not enough to live on anywhere!! so watch Johnson Creek's vid, and then after you guys make your improvements, do it again. but u challenged them, and they kicked butt, my friend!!!

  • @oldhipichk Simply not true. In 2006-2008 while attending college I lived quite comfortably on 700$CND per month ( at the time was 450-600 USD)(paying for food and rent, internet, phone). I lived in a 2 bedrm apartment with 1 housemate. So since they get food paid for and dorms provided. They have a good salary. Not to mention cost of living in China vs. Canada is much cheaper. Not considering healthcare which is free in both countries. Although Canada's is arguably better.

  • I enjoyed the video, and I find it assuring that this level of quality control is being taken. Thanks for posting the video.

  • anyone can pretty up a video for show..

  • tigerztailbezerk...your full of massive shit..im sick of cocksuckees like u who hate americans..fuck off asshole

  • may be clean but theres too much crap they put in their products..the chinese are not are fucking friends when arw ignorant americans goung to learn that fact..get real!

  • So why are they not using gloves? Was this ever answered?

  • sweatshop..... come on, they are chinese, of course that is a sweatshop

  • Good video. Looks clean and sanitary. But, this is why we have a trade deficit with China because everyone is looking for the cheapest product to maximize the profit. WalMart is a perfect example. Buy from America and quit supporting other countries.

  • Johnson Creek, Unsmoke are a few other trusted America made liquids I buy from very good quality! Them and cignot, the only three places I order from not sure if cignots liquids made in USA or not but I just had a problem with some real nasty harsh tasting RY4 from cignot. I got some from Unsmoke and it tasted great nice a clear clean liquid all my liquids I had from Johnsons Creek have been great too!

  • @happysimian wrong.

  • pause at 2:29 & look at worker on the left. What point wear the hair net if their hair still dangle..

  • Why not do it in america ? Why not hire AMERICAN HANDS ? Why not make AMERICAN QUALITY PRODUCTS ? Charge me an extra buck or two it will be worth it.

  • I don't trust a lot of the American companies at all, I am sure they mix in their kitchen, basement, garage, bathtub etc.. And where do they get all their shit ? Just drive down to the local Wal-mart and buy all the artificial flavorings on the shelf, Thrown em in some flavorless vg/pg nic juice and sell it for fucking $30 for a 30ml ? I bet i'm not far off at all. Johnson Creek and Halo are about all I trust in terms of American vendors. Been using China juices for over a year now and no probs !

  • are there no response vids from american eliquid manufactures to this vid

  • I wouldn't mind working in that environ, because all the jobs I've had were inside the most pathetic, dilapidated places. Those wages wouldn't cut it over here though, but that's not my concern. My concern is that juice itself isn't regulated, so it doesn't matter who makes it. Through logic, you are taking a chance regardless. There is only one fact here: That factory looks as clean as a whistle!

  • Great video. Very nice looking facility. I will still buy ejuice made only in the states however as I do not believe in losing american jobs for a slightly cheaper product. Even if I must pay more and get "lower quality", which I really havn't seen yet. There are too many jobs being shipped over seas and too many people out of work here. Great video though I will say that, but I will support my american made ejuice. Thanks again for a great video.

  • If you can tell me why there is a perfume taste from the eliquids that come from china that would be great. I order every thing from vapor4life except my juice.

  • back to the automatic mix. My bank has a small machine in the entryway. You press a combination of buttons and it mixes a cup of coffee for you, mocha, espresso, capacino, suger, no suger, cream. You can see the different nozzels spin and the different tanks move over for your "mix" I do not want to put anyone out of work, but this seems like the most sterile way and the most accurate way to mix juice. I asked the bank manager how much for one. He said it cost him $4200 + supplys.

  • i didn't actually see any cartridges in that video. for all we know, that could've been a pharmaceutical factory or something. a total hoax

  • Hi. just curious, did you go to China just to make this video? I don't mind the chineese liquid btw, I just ordered 2 50ml of it :D

  • @redneck500 No, I spent 4 months in China working on product development and qualitycontrol for V4L.

Now, I am back in China doing the same job for Bloog. In fact, in just two days, Dec 10th, we are launching the product line I created, Bloog's MaxxFusion.

Check out the Countdown to MaxxFusion video. I will attach it as a reply to this one. It is just a teaser video, not a real demo, but it gives a quick glimpse of the performance and quality.

  • @dhenschel05 cool, are you gonna have good juice cheap? Im looking for some good tasting juice thats not gonna cost me an arm and a leg :D

  • @redneck500 Bloog does not carry liquids yet, but I am planning to start an e-liquid line for them hopefully by early 2011.

  • @dhenschel05 Hey, hit me up if you start with the ejuice man. Ill buy some. I am always in search for good cheap delicious Juice. !! Thanks.

  • I don't understand why they still do it by hand? I go to home-depot and ask for a color paint. They press a code into a machine and it squirts out a combination of colors into a can and it gets mixed. Why isn't this being used? Why is anyone touching my juice...get real why should I pay you to do something I can do better, cheaper and quicker? Make that machine and now i can't you could spit out 1 billion filled cartos in 1 hour.

  • @sailure1

    Dur dur dur,

    Dey tuk uor JAAUBS!

  • @sailure1 They still do it by hand because in China people are cheaper than machines. It is cheaper to hire people than to buy a machine. It is cheaper to train people to do a job than create a machine to do it.

But our MaxxFusion manufacturer is the first one changing that, and you can see a glimpse of a couple of his machines in the Countdown to MaxxFusion video. His automation helps make MaxxFusion cartomizers the most consistent in atomizer performance and fill level on the market.

  • @dhenschel05 Are you simply unaware of the inferiority of machine made products? Nearly everything hand made is of better quality than mass produced goods. Why do you think they cost so much more and have such longer lifespan and quality? Look at the Mercedes Benz, their engines are engineered by HAND (and nigh indestructable). The more I think about it, the more I'd rather have a talented, rational, and certainly compassionate, being playing with my chemicals.

  • Yep... looks like a laboratory for a drug company. Next comes the prescription from a doctor. Then comes safer OTC. Going to be a while though.

  • Enlightening certainly, you can't blame people for suspecting sub-standard practices in China though, especially with a new industry. That facility is probably far cleaner than US suppliers outlets, mostly because it's still a family, non industrialised setup in the USA.

Cleanliness is just one aspect though, purity of product is another. I suspect people's minds will be eased when ISO type certifications and regulations are introduced into the industry.

  • Incredible tour. Thanks so much for posting this. I know you've put a lot of people's fears to rest. This one has just been added to my favorites list.

    Thanks Again

    Doc

  • its sooooo pretty....

  • I hate capitalism.

  • Just so everyone knows. Wearing gloves isn't more sterile than bare hands. Gloves are protective against bacteria but when bacteria or any kind of germs come in contact with your gloves do you think they just disappear? Gloves protect you from bacteria but not what you touch. The only way to have sanitary hands is 60second hand washing with anti bacterial soap followed by a small amount of hand sanitizer and of course keeping your nails cut.

  • I do have my favored US manufacturer, just because I love the flavors and customer service, but I will say you have given me a reason to trust Chinese made juices. Awesome video, glad to see people who are proactive in giving the "hobby" a good name as far as safety goes. My hat is off to you sir.

  • I'm gonna guess the manufacturer is Boge? based on the sign at 3:25?

    Awesome video, thanks man,

  • Comment removed

  • Ever heard of foxxcon?

  • I have to agree that cleanliness was never an issue. There have been so many cases of toxic chemicals in simple products from China, we just can't trust them anymore. That isn't even my main concern. My biggest concern is the loss of jobs in the USA and even if that wasn't an issue, I don't like how little Chinese workers are paid for how hard they work.

  • 1 st thing to notice would be the employees paychecks, probably 10 bucks a week, cmon man, your no better than walmart, making your juice in china whats the problem with americans? you must not care about helping your fellow americans keep jobs, your part of the unemployment problem in this country, you send jobs to china. WHAT A SHAME. I'll be buying from US manufacturers

  • @Mikeandwendy74 Actually, average factory wages are from 2000-4000RMB a month, or $75-$150USD a week, plus dorm accomodations and cafeteria food if they want them, which most do to save money..

They'd be lucky to make $10 a week back in their home village IF they find work at all. Shenzhen has the highest wages in China and workers flock here from all over.

As for USA made, we might try some in the future, but remember, E-cigs were invented in China by the Chinese. Credit where it is due.

  • @dhenschel05 yep they make 75 t0 150 a week and are most likely forced to live in the dorms and pay rent back to the company that they work for...seeing as they own the dorms, same bullshit walmart tries to pull. Make people work like they are shit

  • @dhenschel05 not really invented by the chinese,it was in the united stated back in 1965 by an american ,and it even came up on a popular mechanic issue of that same year ,google search it ;invention of the e-cigarette on popular mechanics magazine 1965-66 issue

  • @Mikeandwendy74 Yeh I think each country should be independent enough to buy from themselves. china is just taking advantage of cheap labour. Mind you everything, I mean everything is cheap in china, so 10 bucks actually means a heck of a lot more to them. you can't judge money by value, but by how long you can live with it.

  • you are the man, dude!

  • Make more videos Plz.

  • @BlueprintDK Will do!

  • Leaford, just for doing this V4L will become my main provider! You make it a priority to care for the safety of your customers and that's very important to me. Thanks

  • Thats nice, very well done video...but every single Chinese e-juice I've ever tried has been horrible and a waste of money.

The four US brands I buy over and over again ..might be made in someones basement, their secret ingredient might be dog drool but at least it's Good!

  • yea that part is clean but what about the rest of the factory?

  • EXTREMELY Impressive facility but I also would like to know exactly "what" is going into the juices.

The contents MAY be more important than the cleanliness...... ????

  • Great Job Leaford..I have raised the same challenge on forums for the USA juice mfrs..yet no one has publicly shown their facilities to my knowledge..or "what EXACTLY is in their liquid" either..i know that there are some reputable American facilities..but they need to stand up and show them..or shut up and stop lulling the vaping community into a false sense of security by merely stating "USA MADE"..(*notice i never used the word bath tub either ). lol :-)

  • first of all i see all the gear but wheres the gloves huh and why does it appear that you favor the Chinese manufacturers over your own country i mean it sounds like you dont support our own USA juices come on!

  • @Marvelcomx I was wondering the -exact- same thing about the gloves. One of the biggest things that need to be covered is your hands - imagine all the nasty shit you touch throughout the day that gets transferred through your hands. Covering your mouth? Fine, I don't want your spit in my juice. But I also don't want the remnants of you scratching your balls in my juice either.

  • THANK YOU EXACTLY MY POINT!!

  • @UndeadCircus LOOK AT HIS HANDS you moran , and look at the workers hands too! sheeeesh.

  • @M300SEL You mean the hands that don't have gloves on them? Yea, I see that "moran." He has pasty skin. You can't even hardly see the worker's hands either. Stop being a faggot.

  • @UndeadCircus you are right sorry for what i have said, i found high quality pictures at ECF and it was so clear that there was no gloves, this guys hand is so "white" and with the bad quality vid i was so confidence that there were gloves, i apologies again.

  • @UndeadCircus I've got news for you----

everyone is cool with prep techniques for EVERYTHING ELSE but when it comes to nic liquid everyone has these INSANE expectations. This is as good as it gets dude.

  • @rbass311 Prep techniques for everything else? You mean as in our food? No, I want the same, if not MORE preparation techniques used with my food as I do with my nicotine juices. If someone is preparing it for me and it is going into my body, I want cleanliness. I don't know about you, but I'm sure everyone else wants to make sure what they are intaking is as absolute clean as possible. You have no authority to speak for the collective.

  • @UndeadCircus Okay well then where do you get your juice? I might not be of authority but I can tell you I've been in the e liquid loop for a minute and you're not gonna get much better QC than this. I'm willing to bet unless it's chinese nobody's stepping their ass through an AIRLOCK to get you your precious juice...

  • @rbass311 I have a very simple solution: I make my own juice. And no, you can get much better QC than what is being shown here. Gloves are a major representation of cleanliness in almost every profession available. I never once mentioned somebody stepping through an airlock device, I simply mentioned that he isn't wearing gloves and it is absolutely disgusting that he isn't. We all use our hands for absolutely everything and they need to be covered better than everything else.

  • @UndeadCircus I also want good quality juice but if im honest i dont clean my attys much, my drip tip gets cleaned by my lips and i also scratch my balls (without gloves) but at least they are my balls not jimmy chinns so guess thats ok.

  • @UndeadCircus - But thats where the special ingredient comes from. Fine we'll start wearing gloves, but without our ball scratchings it's not going taste nearly as good.

  • @linkdead14 I wouldn't know the difference in the juice with/without your ball scratchings. I don't and won't order from these guys. Enjoy it the way you want, I guess. To each his own..

  • @UndeadCircus - Thats where your wrong. You seriously underestimate the amount of ball scratchings that goes into each and every batch. Sure this facility is clean as a whistle, but you really don't want to see our ball scratching sweat shops.

  • @UndeadCircus I agree but people do scratch balls with gloves too lol

  • @UndeadCircus ...right on!! Johnson Creek has the whole package locked down! thats who will get MY money!!

  • @UndeadCircus you think they didn't have to clean their hands?

  • WOW i want to SHake the hand of the man that owns this business!

well well well done..this is as clean as clean gets..

i think clean gets jealous of how clean this place is!

Man i would love to own and conduct a facility as good as this is...

    great job!

  • Thanks for the vid! Info videos is just more ammo against the fearmongerers! Keep em coming!

  • not bad juice but bad handling of the camera for the first minute and a half, picturing half of your head

  • Excellent facility. The cleanliness of the facility was never in question for me. What is not shown is the actual chemicals going into the juice.

Certain Chinese ejuice manufacturers (ie Dekang) let DEG into their juice which is toxic for us.

Remember the big toothpaste recall? That was DEG.

Various suppliers have had their Chinese ejuice tested and came back with various amounts of DEG traces over 10% which is the main reason for the switch to USA Juice.

    Sanitary poison is still poison.

  • @jjk0879

Which suppliers would that be? Because I have seen lots of toxicology reports and other analysis and the only one I've seen that found ANY DEG was the FDA report which found 1% (not 10%) in ONE out of 19 samples tested.

Saying that DEG is commonly found in Chinese E-liquid, let alone in as high as 10% concentration, is the sort of outright LIE that prompted this video. It's nothing but bullshit fear-mongering!

CASAA has a list of lab reports on their website. Check it yourself.

  • @dhenschel05

Leaford might want to get in contact with Ben at Vapornine He submitted the Dekang liquid for testing and received the results.

  • I'm not at liberty to say which vendors without consent. And I can assure you that is is no lie. In fact some were as high as 11% These were not FDA tests but private lab tests that vendors had done on their own. I am not saying that this facility(Boge) has come back with those results, but their sister company Dekang has.

It was enough to make me switch.

CASAA is not all knowing. You might want to consider that vendors getting those lab results may not have wanted them to be public.

  • @dhenschel05 WHERES THE FRIGGIN GLOVES HUH YES VERY SANITARY INDEED

  • @jjk0879

Get your facts straight. It WAS NOT DEKANG! It was a product from "Smoking Everywhere" and they do not use Dekang. And the amounts that where found was within FDA regulated limits. 1% Smoking Everywhere is now suing the FDA. Fool

  • Comment removed

  • @jjk0879 BULLSHIT. BULLSHIT... BULLSHIT

the FDA put you up to that comment or do you just believe everything they tell you?

  • GREAT GREAT video!!. Now if someone would produce a video of what EXACTLY is in China liquid i think that would help a ton!. being in a clean enviroment is one thing but knowing what you are truly vaping is completely different.

  • i dont think this an issue about how clean the place is. whats going in the liquid and wheres that come from?? im 100% vg and prefer to support american made products whenever i can. your vid makes a good point though.

  • excellent video mate, thanks for posting

  • great video...also that auto bootie thing is actually more impressive than the e-cig!!..lol

  • Leaford that was perfect! People need to see this.

  • That is inpressive.. I was also wondering what manufacturer this is..

  • hi!

    Which manufacturer is this exactly?

    Is it DEKANG?

  • @crullx

Sorry, but we actually have a nondisclosure agreement with our manufacturer, and can't say.

  • @dhenschel05 so what's the point if we don't get to know who's this from. There are dozens of manufactures out there and with the video we just could guess for yours but without a name, not even it :-|

  • @crullx

check out 3:20 mark " Boge".

  • Comment removed

  • @crullx yeah it is

  • Boge

  • Excellent video, thanks!! =-D

  • The problem is that the Chinese products have killed our pets, given our children toys with lead paint, and made houses built in the years following Katrina, unlivable (toxic drywall - corroded copper wiring). The Chinese slippers I bought my husband leaves black rubber all over our floors. I have not had a problem with Chinese e-liquids, but the reputation of Chinese product quality is badly damaged at the moment. It's understandable that people worry about e-liquids.

  • I never had a doubt about clean process of the juice. Is just that recently we are seeing US suppliers starting to sell homebrew juices that are better. Obiously they are pretty expensive, so the challenge for chinese made juices is to step up and offer better juices and still maintain low prices. We want more flavor!!!!

  • Very cool! I will feel alot better about buying Chinese juices now!!! I didn't think they were dirty, I just wondered about slave labour. I couldn't support a facility like that and now thanks to this video I know better!

  • Thanks Leaford ! I just wish all e-liquid were made like its being made in these Facilities.

  • thank for that video alot people under estimate china manufacture products because of here say, this video should clear up alot of things

    thanks

  • Awesome this is why I chose V4L everyone else falls short.

  • That quite possibly has raised the bar for all to match and even get better for all. Thanks again, Kenny.

  • thats pretty awesome... i honestly dont think i have even bought any american made juice yet and have been vaping for probably for about a year.

  • Great video Leaford!

  • Immpressive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
