You can download commercial music tracks on services like Amazon and iTunes for about 99 cents each. @manrayer88 It wont EVER come to that. Theres always a *GOOD* person. Piracy will never stop. Just like drug trafficking. Only way to *dent* it severely is to make drugs legal but for Piracy's case lower the prices. Go take a look at some prices for games,movies,music ect in South America and Europe. EXPENSIVE as hell. When the sellers find a balance Piracy will be dented and MOST of it will stop. But of course there will be the occasional asshole who doesn't care even if prices are low.

I have a problem with this whole thing. I download songs, but their only songs that I own or have owned. A lot of my CD's have got ruined through the years. Am I suppose to go spend another 10 bucks on another one when I've already bought it?

God forbid you go out and set up some speakers and blast the music outside, I'm sure there's a couple laws against that too 'cause others will hear he music illegally.

@Justicejamesb it depends on what screws you over more. musik: you buy the CD. if it is broken you HAVE to buy a new one (if you DL or burn the CD you violate copyright law). Software: you buy a LICENSE, they give you the CD for free. if it is broken you get a new CD but you can use the license only on ONE (sometimes more, but always limited) Computer(or you violate DRM). they just really like MONEY.
