I did it in the same place but with the Daichi sword, however after getting nowhere, I closed my eyes and focused on pressing the 'x' button in time with the swooshing noises, I think looking at the screen makes you focus on what position you see the weapon in and you don't need to know this.

Thanks to everyone's comments, the video helped me find a great location and also I didn't know you didn't have to be killing any bad guys which was a massive help.

Finally got it. The video helped somewhat, but really, sorry to say, not that much. A few helpful things that should've been in the video but weren't. It's helpful not to really pay attention to the screen a look for visual cues to press X. Listening to the swooshing of the weapon does help somewhat. But mostly it's finding a steady rhythm. Tap X don't hold it down at all. tap..tap..tap. I got it with Daichi with Level 0 Speed. Bowser Lake beach.

Wow...your video really doesn't example much....or is much help at all. Maybe just maybe it would've been more helpful to actually show the controller while along the video? Ya think? So that we could actually see the timing. Saying "Oh just push X and blah blah blah" is very unhelpful. Using the daichi and spamming X doesn't work, nor does use the hammerthyst and "watching" for the blue swipes. Sure you may get one or three, but that's it. This is an impossible achievement for the average gamer

For any one having troubles with this I found out you literally have to tap the x button. I was chaining 20 + all with blue but it still did not register. Just tap it and within 8 or so you should have it. I did it with master sword

I agree: GO SLOW! i tried mashind X as fast as i could and all that resulted was a sore arm. I got it in less than 10 seconds. Going slow WORKS.

Thumb this shit up! This is WAAAAAAAY more help than this shitty video. Google Metronomeonline and use Speed 92. Use the Iron Hammer (obtainable from the Bowerstone Blacksmith) and press the X button on every click (from the Metronomeonline website). I got it, literally, within 10 seconds!

Thanks man. I tried and tried with the Hammerthyst but it was a little slow for me. I switched to the Wretcher's Blade and got it in seconds. So if anyone is constantly having trouble, I recommend switching weapons around.

Oh and if you've bought Brightwood Tower, the area right in front of the front door is long enough to just keep slashing foward. No enemies or villagers to worry about.

I really don't know how because I have done like 12 chain attacks in a row several times before and still did not get it... Today when I was about to give it all up i tried one last time and I did it a little faster at the end, and I got it.

This is a bit irritating to get because I can actually get 5 consecutive quite easily but it doesn't register some of them so I had to do about 9. It took me about 10-15 minutes. It does help if you try and listen out for the swoosh sound.

Used Daichi as well. It helps not to look at the screen though, I kept looking at the sword to see if I was in a flourish or not. Just do as Daywalker says and time it with the swooshing sound.

If you don't know where the Diachi is, it's the prize for beating the Brightwood Tower dungeon.

the best way i got the achivment is to use a weak weapon on the balverines... whatever the fuck they are called. Because the wont block you in the middle of your chain.

ATTENTION: I have found a really easy way to get this achievement.

If you have a guitar hero controller use it!

I plugged in my GH 2 guitar and pressed the blue button to a rythm and it worked! The sound it makes made it easier to build up a combo!

however the screen keeps on spinning which is a bit weird.
