I recomend razer goliathus control or speed for what are you liking...I think that razer showed himself on market not just for the mouse pads it is abot keyboards mices headsets.....Just by goliathus you wont regret it....

I bought today a Roccat Kone [+] but now I'm looking for a good mousepad and now I'm stuck... because, I need a good gliding mousepad, big enough and it's need to stay always flat. Now I have a cheap mousepad, but with a kind of metal inside it, but like you have over there, it's bended... I'm doubt between the Roccat Sota and the Roccat Tatio. I saw allot of good commends for the Sota but I'm afraid the metal will bend after a time. Can you help me out with this? xD

Im having problems with my kone+

The marker is moving across the screen by itself almost all the time.. im having problems just clicking a internet link.., i have a completely black steelseries XXL mousemat wich worked exellent with the regular kone v2 mouse.. however the kone+ is moving all over any ideas? i've tested without a mousemat also and it still moves across the screen..,

@VerdeErde I would suggest that your mouse is damaged, this would be covered by your warranty. It might also help to try a different usb-port and to reinstall the latest drivers. Hope I could help you m8.

Excellent Review! I bought this mouse mat along with the Roccat Kone V2 mouse, I will be hardcore testing it with a game called 'Gunz'. That game requires so much button mashing that my last Gaming Mouse (Microsoft Habu) broke in 2 hours of gaming and I had to replace it 4 times before returning it. Started using a £5 Argos mouse that was durable for that game, I'll see how durable this mouse is when I receive it :)

I got a steelpad qck+ and very satisfied (I don't do games, but it's also very nice for normal desktop usage) and now ordered this roccat along with it. I think they're exactly the same :P but that's good because I love the steelpad.

the logitech g5 mouse has these plastic glide things under it, so without a mousemat it's really annoying. I recommend buying this to everyone with a g5.

@Kongsted2970 go for steelseries this mouspad its not good if you want your mouse to glide properly

i had a razer sphex n it worked alot better my mouse used to glide so good but on this its just awful theres too much friction between the mouse and the pad...

i wish i bought another sphex because its around same price...

Excellent review! It got me to buy the Roccat Taito and I can attest that everything you said is true. Especially the fact that it doesn't slip. And the Razer DeathAdder glides very smoothly on it. It was a little pricey (€14.99) but definitely worth the money. Thanks!

I have seen lots of these huge mouse mats out there for gaming. Right now im using an allsop accutrack gaming mousepad which like your zed mat does not stick,and will not bend its stiff but it has worked well for the money. I am thinking about getting a razer vespula mousepad as i have a razer keyboard,headset,and mouse..

There wasnt a roccat ID-card in the Taito package so opened up the Kone, with my mothers permission lol, to take that one. I tested the Mouse but when i put in the weights, they stick out a few mm at one point. Is this normal? i dont think so

ROCCAT Kone sucks, I had mine for 2 months, then it broke while I was scrolling down an Internet page - It's a nice and cool mouse, but the quality sucks!

That is because both of you received the 1st version of this mouse. They fixed this scroll wheel error and is now only selling fixed mice :)

I just got this & it's Excellent & nice & smooth. But the only down side is the edges are a little sharp so when u put your wrist on it, it's sometimes a little ruff on you wrist but it's no big deal.

Awesome review like always bro. I want one of those, My dell mousepad isn't cutting it anymore my mouse while in game moves in circles and it sucks while playing CSS or Cod 4 cause your just circling in the sky.

Personally, I wont need such a big mousemat. But if you are a low-sensetivity gamer you could really need the extra space. Overall it looks good though. It doesnt slip away from you and seems very smooth to glide your mouse. and you can easily carry it to LAN-partys.

I am a bit unsure what you will need the 8000 dpi support for... but i think other mice simply will be more precise because of this. Please correct me if I am wrong. Cheers :)
