Yeah I am sad that Lyn was not recognize a lot then other idol group. When I had a month trip to Korea last month and get to know a lot of Korean people, music always come into conversation. And when they asked, "Who is you fav. singer?" and I answered "Lyn", and they where like "Who?"..What!!! T_T

Usually their first answer was the Idols.

V.O.S, Tasha, Shin Hye Sung are also good singers.

Too bad she isn't appreciated as much as those idol groups in Korea. She doesn't need others to cover up lack of singing skills like some of the idol groups. The US went through that phase with Backstreet and NSync years ago but that phased out. It seems that artists like Lyn would be more appreciated here. I don't know Korean but I totally dig Lyn and her music!! She is totally awesome!!

@sactomanwhore Lyn is definitely an amazing singer but I find it odd you would said we've phased out of that idol era. If you mean groups then you're right. But if you mean lackluster singers (i.e. comparing SNSD to Backstreet Boys) then I'd disagree. We've got Bieber, Cyrus, Spears, Kesha, etc. Maybe it's just me but I'd actually argue the overall quality of popular music in Korea is higher. Of course, I also listen to a lot of underground K.artists so maybe I'm too biased >.<
