  • eight is enuff to suck deez nuts

  • You know, Grant Goodeve sang this.

He voiced Wolf O'Donnell in Star Fox Assault and the Engineer in Team Fortress 2.

Now I can imagine them singing this song...

  • This was a good show

  • DOMFRONT61 Geeze I guess ! It reminds me of how much I've forgot lol

  • how gay and corny

  • I hated this show. I hated hated hated hated this show. I swear Lucifer himself was a Producer for this TV show.

  • I used to LOVE this show and this song!

  • I wish some channel would run the reruns of this show.

  • LOVE THIS!! Anyone know if this series is on DVD collection yet? Very good program!!

  • @Paradise7692 go to tvshows ondvd.com and vote for EIE. warner bros is seriously considering releasing the show, they just need votes

  • @karmalevel Warner Brothers is releasing the first season this April! Remember to buy them up so we can get all the seasons!

  • @oceolot7 oh for sure!!! yay!!!

  • Thank you for the post!! I miss these old shows :'/

  • Lani O'Grady was so sweet ...

  • I wonder why this show has never come out on DVD.

  • I USE TO LOVE THIS SHOW AND THEME SONG!

  • THE GUY SINGING THIS SONG NEEDS PROZAC.

  • As interpreted by BLU Engineer.

  • THEME WAS BAD ASS BACK IN THE DAY & STILL BRINGS A WARM SMILE TODAY =)

  • I used to watch this show all the time

  • I always loved this theme

  • I remember the show. Forgot this theme song... Man, this is god-awful: the song, the singer, everything.

  • @nauort23 you must be a retard! its my best guess!

  • @nauort23 You probably think "rap" is real music....right? Clearly, pearls before swine.

  • @Nemesis7293 ?!?! Actually, this swine is fairly knowledgeable when it comes to music, and thinks "real music" is anything from Palestrina to punk rock. Rap has its merits, unlike this drivel. Hatred of rap is an easy guise for racists to hide behind; like it or not, it's the artform for which this age will be known. You can have your white pearls, if you consider this song to be one. I'll take truffles, moron.

  • thanks for posting, brings back memories of this great series from around the late 70's/early eighties, I think.

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • great theme music

  • I agree with ChristianNYC.... things did seem simpler back in those days.... I long for a little bit of that simplicity in my own life.

  • There's a magic in the early morning we found,

When the sun rise smiles on everything around.

It's a portrait of the happiness that we feel and always will,

For eight is enough to fill our lives with love.

Oh we spend our days like bright and shiny new dimes.

If we're ever puzzled by the changing times.

There's a plate of homemade wishes on the kitchen window sill,

And eight is enought to fill our lives with love.

  • I LOVE the show!!!!! Man I miss those days...things to me seemed simpler...maybe because I was a young kid

  • what a horrible show this was, and a worse theme song

  • I think we should all take over all the networks and create shows like this and say bye bye reality garbage.

  • This seems somewhat sped up.

  • DAMM, I loved this theme song!!

  • my cousin Emalline had 8 kids...one husband....and eight different baby daddies

  • So did every young actor and actress on this program go completely berserk?

  • I want to create a cable channel called "That '70s Channel" and show all the shows just like this. Forget network TV!

  • wish i was there again...

  • @jericho4004 - abso-freakin-lutely!

  • Wow, listen to that bass line! Would be wonderful if REAL musicians could play theme music like this today. Really takes me back. Thank you for posting!!!

  • very cool!

  • they need to put this show on dvd since it was a great show for the whole family

  • "There's a plate of homemade wishes on the kitchen window sill..." love that line in the song :)

  • How did their mother die?

  • My Mom loved the theme song.

  • COOL TV SHOW I ALWAYS LOVED ADAM RICH

  • This is my dream. For one whole year, all networks suspend the crud they have on now, and replay all of these types of shows from 1969-1980, including commercials from then.

  • @jericho4004 that would be cool.

  • @jericho4004 Get over it.

  • @jericho4004 I totally agree with you on this take all the crap off they have on now and put on all the shows from 1969-1980 i would be happy. Can't forget the commercials thats a must. great idea!!

  • @doom666metal I agree with you and Jericho. Shows like Toddlers and Tiaras, Jersey Shore and Teen Mom come to mind. Those shows are proof Satan exists!!!

  • @jericho4004 Sounds more like a nightmare. Stop living totally in the future, eh?

  • Loved this show, it was a classic and loved this song by the oldest son David!!

  • GREAT!!!

  • I bet Dick Van Patton screwed all thses broads!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm Dick Patton...and I did

  • He double teamed them with Dick Van Dyke

  • Shows like these were great so many years ago! I can't wait for the reunion!

  • dianne kay!

  • OH HOW I LOVED THIS SHOW

  • Friend at work requested this song for

his upcoming mom's funeral. Will use

the live long version as well.

  • In '1984 my best friend (Doug) called me to say he had lost his job in Boston AND that his new lease just went up 40% on his apartment. So I drove from L.A. to Boston in a beat up '72 Plymouth and brought him back to San Francisco (where he died in 1988) ~ it took us 3 months to cross the country (we called it the '84 USA Auto Tour) and because I had no working radio I recorded his off the T.V. on a microcassette recorder. We shared terrific experiences ~ listening to this all the way.

  • I loved when Tommy got wasted drunk....his dad brought him up a six pack the next morning.

  • I'm from peru 34 years and also grew up with that series as a kid I thought my family was like the Bradford family grown up and everything and then not like before

  • OH HOW I LOVED THIS SHOW...The Theme song reminds me when I was little and wanted to hurry up, take a bath and get into my PJ's before the show started...I actually thought Nicholas was my friend LOL!

  • Gosh, I miss the good ole days when TV was entertaining and this show was right at the top!

  • No family is that happy all the time.

  • As it turns out...We ALL come from dysfunctional familles. LOL

  • Let's not forget all the drama 8 had....such as the death of Diane Hyland in real life which they worked into the storylines instead of just recasting. And then the introduction of a GF for dad...then their marriage, And David and Janet's divorce. The Bradford's had their share of sad times,

  • Great memories. I used to love watching this show. It's too bad television now is all reality garbage. TV could use a good dose of this "old school" school.

  • @Dar0922 Couldn't agree with you more.

  • @Dar0922 It's not ALL reality garbage.

  • "there's a plate of home made wishes on the kitchen window sill"....lol!old school lyrics, sweet.

  • I have three books by Molly-ann Leikin who wrote this music. She is an emmy winning composer and song writer. Her books on how to write hit songs are phenomenal. Molly-ann Leikin is the shit!

  • this was my all time favourite show

  • this very homey disco song makes me miss US and Sacramento in particular

  • WOW...this brings back so many memories...thank you so much!!!!

  • dianne kay!!!

  • THe older brother David sang this song.

  • this is an uplifting song

  • oh my god! memories, so sweet memories, thank you 80sand70smemories

  • You bet!
