  • I like seeing a drummer who's not an old Fart who still uses a simple kit without all the crap like some drummers get carried away with in gear.

  • lol u guys are assholes n.n your supposed to be lokking at how he plays the sound of the drums not how he dresses honestly..lol awesome cover dude i fuckin love ur drumset

  • You gave me goosebumps. or lust bumps. that sounds nasty. but u know what i mean. i think. anyways, great job man. lol

  • cocains a hell of a drug,

  • I actually (legally) downloaded one of your band's songs today! Pretty sweet cover!

  • i love the sound of the bass drum, the snare, not so much, not sure why, i just don't like it.

  • is there a lion in that bass trying to get out? haha, good cover dude

  • Im looking to do UnderOATH and The Almost drum covers.

Im interested in what songs people would like to hear.

So if you have any suggestions let me know please.

    Its highly Appreciated. ~secondseptember

  • that bass drum is a MONSTER

  • that some gangsta shit yo!

  • nice pants hoe

  • @ilovetruthdrumzzz nice hoe pants

  • @YuB lol!!!

  • @YuB Pants hoe nice

  • Gretch Catalina Club right?

  • You definitely DON'T play in thirtyseven. My friend Brandon does.

  • @JesseUTS i thought i commented this back already but i guess i didn't. i sing and play bass in thirtyseven. brandon is the drummer. good job.

  • @YuB Ahh right on I just assumed that you were playing drums in the video and said add my band so I just figured :p i'll be workin merch for sound the ruin friday, stoked to catch y'alls set.

  • @YuB HA....amazing

  • @JesseUTS

LOL you look like such a fucking fag now

  • You're fast..

  • why didn't you do the start on the snare..?

  • @ravenboy2000 i guess i couldn't get to it in time after clicking play on the song...i honestly don't know it was like 2 years ago.

  • @YuB was just wondering, all around good cover though man didn't mean to come off as a troll haha

  • @ravenboy2000 why u so anal

  • Where did u find the tab/notes for this?

  • @TiannaMusic Learn it by ear. It's not hard at all.

  • ive been looking for this kit everywhere, its discontinued :(

  • BEAST!! Dang you and your kit freakin rock!! Awesome job!

  • Bro could be nice, except you can't hear anything. Try mic'ing your kit to make is smoother and better quality. Love the kit btw :)

  • nice drum cover dude. you got 20% performance, 20% kit, 40% cover, 20% video = 100%..haha i'm just kidding!!

  • Awesome cover, love when the drummer actually gets into the drumming ^^

By the way, the set is awesome. Reminds me of a Truth drum set....

  • great job

  • We know you hit the bass drum right cause you can see the res head move haha! good cover! XD

  • really great man *-* great job

  • very nice cover

  • awesome energy dude!!

  • Awesome cover, and you're really in with your heart. =)

Keep it up, another awesome drummer!

  • way to get into it mate!

  • wow, I love your set. Awesome look. What make/model is it?

  • It's funny how your bounces lol. but nice drumming bro.

  • Yeees Amazing indeed (:

When i get bored i watch this

  • amazing :0

  • your awsome

  • GREAT cover man i can play this song but suck at that point at 0:36 when its just pure snare i cant get that Rhythm any tips

  • wow u really get into it O_o hehe good job

  • Um yes.. Haha Idk what you're looking at exactly but his playing is good

  • Dude it doesn't matter how loud the original music was. You could obviously see his playing matched the playing of the song.

  • really awesome COVER! and ur band thirty seven is also really GOOD! you guys should do a show in hawaii.

  • YES we will NOW

  • Great cover! Did you play paradiddle (LRRLRLL..) at 0:36 ? Or just normal (LRLRLR) =

  • just alternating sticking. no paradiddles.

  • @YuB a paradiddle is alternate sticking.

  • @haproductions01 i didn't say alternate i said alternating. like LRLRLRLRLRLR

  • @YuB right, that's still a paradiddle.

  • @haproductions01 no, LRLLRLRR is a paradiddle

  • @YuB uhhh.. your all dumb, RLRRLRLL is a para-diddle. RLRLRRLRLRLL is a double para-diddle. RLRLRLRRLRLRLRLL is a triple para-diddle. in drumming, your right hand is always the main hand even if your left handed. (i'm left handed.)

  • @beccasaurs23

actually it doesnt matter where you start in a paradiddle its still a paradiddle

eg. LLRLRRLRLLRLRRLR is still a paradiddle or even LRLRRLRLLRLRRLRL

dont call people dumb when you dont know what you're talkin about

  • @imatroII look it up, it's the proper way. your right hand is always the starting hand. there is no such thing as left handed in drumming rudiments.

  • @beccasaurs23 i dont know where you've seen this but its not true

you can lead with either hand and its still correct

if you think im wrong maybe provide some proof? link to page saying otherwise maybe?

but yeah.. you dont have to lead with your right hand

  • @beccasaurs23 while it's true that most stuff leads with the right hand in rudimental drumming, a paradiddle is still a paradiddle no matter which hand you start with, so long as you are playing the right pattern. RLRR is a paradiddle. LRLL is a paradiddle.

  • i'll check it out now!

  • nice u sound jst like him

  • Looks exactly like I See Stars kit. Where'd you find it?

  • it's a really common kit. grestch catalina club mod. i've stripped the wrap off since then.

  • awesome cover. keep up the bad ass work

  • BITCHIN SONG!!! :)

great cover man, way sick :P

  • thats the highest hi hat iv'e ever seen!!!!

  • haha yeah i was going through a weird phase

  • mad set if i say so :)

    thats the gretsch aye?

  • boring set for a drummer like u

  • awesome

  • hahaha that's not a truth. yeah truths are expensive, but that's a gretsch catalina club mod. they're pretty sick. i'm glad i own one

  • nice but its just a little hard to hear your drums

  • yeah this was the first cover i made. i got better at the audio in newer ones

  • lol hey i was just kidding about the harsh comments on your guitar i loved it and great job here

  • amazing¡ congratulations¡¡¡¡¡

  • dude your kit is so sick!

    and kickass cover

  • you play good but you missed a bass drum part..when he starts going into the chorus while doing the drum roll.. good though

  • Haha, great job. You should cover the downfall of us by a day to remember

  • WHAT YOU ONLY HAVE 7 thousand views

psssh you should have like million of views

  • i havee this video in my computer lol

    his soooo AWSOME

  • great job dude

  • Hey, what kinda kit and how much did it cost?

  • it looksz lyke a custom truth set.....nd they kinda expensive bro

  • what the box thing in front of the bass drum for?

  • it's screwed to the rug, it keeps the kick drum from sliding forward.

  • dude amazing!

  • thanks!

  • you rock!

  • no you rock!

  • People can be such hypocrits!.. Keep in mind that Aaron Gillespie recorded this.. And he is the hardest hitting drummer I know!.. So don't go watch a The Almost cover if you don't like people hitting hard ..

  • haha yeah. i don't think i've ever complained about someone hitting too soft. i don't see why they care how hard i hit.

  • Intense cover man... fuck everyone else, I love it that you nail the drums each time you hit, you have more fun that way and usually sounds better :P Love your "stage" presents (: :P

  • hey thanks!

  • why is every body pissing at how hard you hit..

music is all about expressions and feelings.

  • exactly.

  • dude love the drums! what brand is that?

  • gretsch. i recently stripped the wrap off and stained them.

  • make a new cover video with them

  • i will soon!

  • nice, very good! and love the drums i have seen three bands wit hthose drums.

  • nice energy!

  • Great Job!! =)

  • Good job, Don't hit so hard...

  • i think it amplifies the stage presence which is always a huge from me, anybody can play with a few years of practice, it takes a little personality to have stage presence tho, and it didnt sound bad so im gonna defend him

    great cover

  • hit however hard u want dude. do what feels right

  • the harder the better with drums lol

  • dude ur a DUCHE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • so its not a very impressive cover but its a good job?

  • i have that rug xD

  • yeah its a very common setup. thats what i use. for this style ofmusic its really allyou need to be honest haha

  • I like it. I find it easier to reach everything than the typical rock set up.

  • me too, this is how I setup my drums, I love it. But I have my Ride symbol coming out of the kick drum, and a china on the right:]

  • the amount of drums is all i use but like how can people have their rack tom so high? it's so difficult to get to your floor from that, plus doing cross overs with your right hand on the rack and left on the floor is just impossible

  • truth set?

  • gretsch lol.

  • i think he really likes the almost drummer. his set up is almost the same

  • actually, i don't think their drummer is anything special. a four peice kit with 2 cymbals is a VERY common setup. i play with a different one now.

  • yeah thats cool

  • im watching all your drum covers and commenting :D

  • holly shit i loved ur drum set..

    cool dude!

  • Dude omg you look sooo into it!!!!!!!!!

    i loved it :)

    congratulations

  • I love the train beat, you nailed it too. i just learned this song. very fun song. good cover.

  • Sweet Cover,Man.

    Keep it up!

    -FrankieBeatz

  • love the sound of your kit man!

what heads do you use on your toms?

  • what heads do you use on your snare?

  • remo emperor x

  • thanks.

what head do you use on the bottom of your snare?

  • remo ambassador

  • Killin it Bro.

And i like that your getting into it.

    5 stars forsure.

  • dude, nice!

    whats your cymbal set up?

what sizes are your cymbals also?

  • what cymbals do you use here?

  • a cracked 20" zildjian a series ride, a very cracked sabian 20" chad smith explosion crash. and zildjian new beat hi hats.

  • amazing kit! gretsch drums?

  • yep! it's cheap. get one.

  • is that the 4" port?

  • yessir. i made it with a coffee can and some heat.

  • is it just the hole or did you buy one of those rings from guitarcenter?

  • i made the hole with a coffee can. then i bought a ring and it flew off after like a day. so yeah.

  • what does the hole do?

  • lets air escape the drum when you kick it, making the drum ring less. the bigger the hole the deader the sound.

  • true)

  • Aye man good job. what are your cymbal specs?

  • in this video zildjian a series medium ride 20", zildjian new beat hats, and a sabian chad smith 21" crash, both the rie and the crash were cracked badly in this video, i got a new ride recently, it's in my other cover.

  • that kit is like sex

  • awesome drumkit ! and nice job man!

    its a gretsch, right?

  • great to see someone who actually hits the drums, awesome covers man

  • if you ever think about selling this kit, contact me.

    :)

    not kidding.

  • Dude, it's a gretsch catalina club mod! You'll find this in ever F****** Music Shop, for less than 500 Dollar!! Btw..It doesn't sound good at all.. ;)

  • i know, lol idc though. i already have an all maple kit.

    i just want this one.

    :)

  • yeah, it is a cheap kit. with the right heads and attitude you can get this kit sounding great.

not that mine sounds all too hot. i put all my money into bass gear for my band so i have had the same heads forever.

btw, way to be a jerk?

  • really thats cool :D

    i play guitar,and of course drumms :]]

    im in a band too

im the lil drummer girl for "The Next Move"

but im not really lil haha

  • cool,thanks :]]

so what else do you know how to play??

  • i play bass and sing in my band, i play guitar and sing by myself, i used to play piano in jazz band but i haven't touched one in forever. what about you?

  • how much did yours cost you?

im thinking of buying one :]

  • mine was $530 when they had just came out. i'm sure you can get a better deal now!

  • nice man.

is that the gretsch catalina club?

    how do you like it?

    im looking into getting one,

    wondering if you'd suggest it.

    :]

  • yes it is and yes i do suggest it! for the money it is a really great kit.

  • awesome,

i found the for like 500 bucks on musicians friend,

so that might be what santa's leaving me under the tree.

how'd you like the heads and all?

  • the heads that come on the kit? they aren't anything special, evans coated g1's on top if i remember right, no name resonants on the bottom. i didn't really like how the toms sounded until i got some double ply heads on top, but i like a fatter sound. i had remo pinstripes ontop at one time, and those sounded good too.

  • cool cover

I love energetic covers rather than people looking like zombies when they're playing

    nice cover

and i hope you'd check mine out too when i get them uploaded

    take care x

  • no problem! let me know once you have them up!

  • i have this set too. =D

im waiting for my camera to be fixed, then ill upload some vids.

  • that was awesome! made me wish i could play drums!

  • dude, you look exactly like this drummer i used to lead worship with...................oh wait, you are! Your drumming still amazes me.

  • haha. miss you man!

  • that was awsome

    i love your kit! :D

    what kind is it??

  • thanks!! it's a gretsch catalina club mod. they are pretty cheap and good for the price.

  • you are AMAZING. <3

  • no you are! that was really nice, thanks!

  • that's sweet man i love ur kit

  • thanks dude!
