Knowing Movie Review

I did not like your movie review of "Knowing", Blake. I do not like the way when Diana tells John to stay away from her and her daughter Abby when he told her about the time capsule. I also do not like the way when John screamed at her on his cell phone. In the final scene from the movie, Diana's daughter Abby tells John that she does not want her mother anymore because she was not listening to him throughout the whole movie. Can you comment this message?

i liked the ending , i didn't espacted it at all , when i saw the kids running to the tree , i remembered the forbidden fruit story !! the kids were supposed to relive the life of Adam and Eve's and start their own new generation !!

Totally agree, the first half was extremely good. The end was just dire, it would have been better if the world just ended without the whole sci-fi angel-like element. I came out of the movie thinking it was just more shameless God promotion. My rating 3/5 - mainly due to the awesome beginning.

Absolutely agree. I wanna know what religious group was behind this dogma dressed up as drama. Fantastic effects, great suspense in early to mid portions but there were early signals of the GOD stuff coming. The discussion on Determinism Vs andomness; Meaningless Vs Purpose; disenchanted son of a pastor offers his only son for salvation of mankind and then reconciles with the faith of his own father. A new heaven, a new earth to be procreated by children - the New Adam & Eve. Gimme a break!

The ending means the beggining of a new earth once our earth ends. It's the adam and eve with the tree of life, forbidden fruit, etc. And How God Put A+E on earth, The Aliens resemble the Gods of the NEW earth. Meaning they put them there to begin their planet.

Why do people always throw the movie out the window just because of the ending. Omg they do this to everything. I.E. The movie Next and also the movie the happening. This movie was great. Such a suspense driven plot and the acting was good. I do agree with you about some this review. such as the rocks. I would give it 8.5/10.

i totally agree with everything you said. i thought the movie had a really good plot, or so i thought from the trailer. i was looking fwd to seeing it since last year when i saw the trailer. towards the end of the movie i thought the plot got dumb, but the disaster scenes were very realistic and well done. i thought it was a bit dramatic, especially all of the music. i wish they would have stuck with the idea that was presented in the trailer and he would have just tried to prevent the disasters

That's what I originally thought. Because that tree could have been the tree of forbidden fruit. But, if that was the garden of Eden, there should have been mor ethan just a single tree. My friend thought it was the tree of life haha.
