  • Sounded possibly like the most inattentive audience Thom Yorke has ever played to.

  • Love this version. Plus, I've been reading some of the comments about how someone was dissing RAdiohead and praising Dream Theater. Being a fan of them both, Both bands are making music that no one would dare to try. Plus, if you look for Dream Theater's Behind the scenes of Six Degress od Inner Turbulence, Mike Portnoy was listening to The Bends as an inspration for that album. Also they were listening OK Computer as well.

  • QUE CANCION MAS HERMOSA...

    NICE DREAM...

  • i love this song...

  • Beautiful Chords, Nice Song, Nice dream :)

  • Passionate performance of a beautiful song.

  • Thom Yorke is one of the few musician who just stops you doing what your doing, he stops you in your tracks, he could stop traffic ....

  • oh.. he plays it completely different here on the guitar... different from the 12 string version.. beautiful! true musician !

  • hehe thom rocks

  • while the rest of you argue, i jizz - eeeeuuuuaaahhhh!!!!!

  • @ThegreatGallbo: what makes you think that Malmsteen or Satriani are not original and sensitive people putting forth their ideas and emotions?

  • trolls!

  • love this version!

  • Aw, nice to see a grin in there! ;-)

  • Thom Yorke is just sick.... This is probably the best version I've seen him do live.

  • youre ignorance is astonishing

  • If you paid more attention to Thom Yorke guitar play you would have found out that he has very complex strumming patterns and unique melody. Eric Clapton is just a tech nerd that sounds the same like all the 60's-70's guitarists.

I don't demean his work but I just don't understand why you listed him as a "Should listen" guitarist.

  • @TehWinnerz

its a shame that people couldnt spot the obvious trolling ;-)

  • Aww c'mon people! Maroon 5? How could you not get the trolling? :D Lol

  • @TehWinnerz i lol'd but cmon cant you trolls stay away from radiohead? thanks

  • fucking angel, sure!

  • Is he angel?

  • marvelous!

  • let's not. you have nothing better to do with your time than concocting pointless lists?

  • @rukus24 it is pointless I know but it is just for fun and sometimes you end up finding artists you dont know yet

  • nobody cares about those lists anyway. by posting them you accomplish nothing but taking up space and starting futile arguments about which artist is better, more influential, more genius, etc. etc., as if there can be any objectivity to any of this.

  • @rukus24 if u dont want to do do one or have to do anything with it then just dont. But dont be an arrogant ass about it and say stuff like : oh Im to intelligent and important to waste youtube space a list. how did you get to know your favorite artists, by not finding from lists or friends comments of some artists. if you never ended up on the internet trying to find anybody's influences to find new bands to like then lucky you. As I told u, i might find a new artist I like

  • please see my vid..Radiohead - Nice Dream live acoustic ( cover )...:)

  • one of the best artists of our generation. enjoy it while it lasts folks. talent like this doesn't happen often.

  • Thom Yorke

    simplemente el mejor

    la voz mas hermosa, dulce...

    desde uruguay

  • I really heart the bends. on of their best albums.

  • My fav voice! Thanks Thom

  • 2:15 ...

    I love u Tom!!!! u r simply the best!

  • That variation he did on guitar is different from what he does on the 12 string. Shows how talented he really is. These guys are what musicians should be.

  • @abw82 I was thinking that too! I am learning this song and have been getting so confused about it. So i just said fuck it and played it however i wanted and it still sounds wonderful. It's a great piece of music.

  • @abw82 the 12-string sounds godly, but there need not be much change chord wise, though it was awesome :)

  • euhh... he doesnt act like a dick with the band ..?? well, if this is what you called at like a dick .. you dont understand a thing my man.

  • thom yorke acoustic is insanely good

  • Yorke is amazing as usual.

  • why did he do this benefit?.

    I love this!.

    xx.

  • because hes kind

  • yeah I just wanted to know if he like used to go to the school, or why they were having a benefit.

but yeah he is kind haha.

  • Neil Young hosts the benefit every year and gets loads of famous artists to play. The Bridge School is a school for children with learning difficulties {as is my understanding} and no, he never went there. It's really nice, went last year to see Death Cab and The Smashing pumpkins.. Neil Young's so lovely =)

  • This song is amazing, but he should have used a 12 string. The bridge is no where near as good without a 12 string.

  • maybe at the album version of There There, they didn't use an acoustic guitar. But I rather like the acoustic versions of that master piece of work. At live Thom usually play it on acoustic.

  • :( no 12 string.

  • you are fortunate, to be there.

I like the acoustic songs from their albums. Just, PA, There there, Faust Arp, Nice Dream, High and Dry...etc...etc..

  • Just, Paranoid Android, acoustic??? what?

  • yes. Those songs based on an acoustic guitar. Just listen it, dude..

I hardly believe, that you don't know these facts.

  • amazing amazing amazing!

    radiohead kicks ass

  • you play better when you learn theory and apply it to your instrument.

  • do you have any proof to support your theory of being able to play better by learning musical theory?

  • Lol that applies to talentless people

  • Understanding music and playing music well are two separate things. You play an instrument well if you practice. You understand why and what you play through learning music theory.

  • Not sure I agree. Music should be an emotion, you can't study and emotion just try to represent it via art.

  • totaly agree!

  • ehh... I think it really should be everything. Even the best visual artists had some sort of formal training even in the least bit, but yes... I'd say a Neil Young or a Thom Yorke takes the cake against a Joe Satriani or a Yngwie Malmstein, and why? There is more that is eeeemoted, and that can actually be felt. Robots can now replcicate complicated music at this day an age, but no one can replicate the originality and sensitivity of a unique person putting forth their ideas and emotions

  • True. Human emotion cannot be created by machines.

  • @TheGreatGallbo : There is no cake to take. Each is great at their style.

  • @aaqaaqaaqaaqaaqaaqaa butttttttttt Thom Yorke's style is better!

  • @skylineiiigt: that is only your opinion. Can you really try to compare acoustic alternative to metal virtuoso shred? Too different to say one is better. Furthermore, why do we have to declare one as better, can't we just enjoy the music?

  • @TheGreatGallbo

yeah i couldnt agree more but this was a solo tour meaning he did this to surprise the fans

  • @TheGreatGallbo I really wanted to use this as a facebook status because some friends of mine were dissing Radiohead and they love Dream Theater, which as you probably know, is the same thing as Satriani and Malmstein.

  • @SolidWookie I don't think any band can truly be superior to another band--since when was music a competition anyway? To say that X conveys more emotion than Y is just as bad as saying Y plays more complex music than X.

I listen to Dream Theater and other progressive metal acts, and I love them. I also love & own Radiohead's complete discography. I don't understand the "if you like this you're not allowed to like this" mentality, or the "this music is unintelligent". I just like it or I don't.

  • @TheGreatGallbo Thank you for this comment sir. Thanks!

  • This is my song!

    Thank youuuu for add it!!!

  • de poka madre el koncierto nunka lo e consegido pero el cd de audio se lo tengo

  • como se llama el CD? que canciones trae? es que todas estas canciones acusticas son la pura ley!!! si puedes mandame un mensaje

  • se llama "The Bends"

es lo mejor CD de Radiohead

  • The Bends es el mejor disco de Radiohead, pero decia el disco donde viene esta presentacion en vivo, de todos modos ya lo encontre. Saludos

  • anyone know where i can get the tab/tuning for this?

  • How are tabs for amateurs? People have been using tablature since ancient Egyptian times.

If Craig wants to learn this song faster and more accurately, why shouldn't he?

  • eh, it just a matter of personal opinion/taste

I think it helps people a lot more to try and figure things out rather than just reading and playing.... but to each his own...

  • Yeah right, you're going to tell us you never learned from tabs?

I'm trying hard not to call you an idiot.

  • yeah, but you've got to start somewhere

  • He's right! training the ear will never harm a musician... you really own the tune when you learn it by ear

  • you own a tune if you wrote it, lmao.

  • haha

  • google it

    nice dream tabs

  • google it

    nice dream tabs

  • what does he say in the beginning?

this is for all the ___________

  • sounds like this is for all the people up on the lawn. ???

  • cheers dude !
