  • Hey, I can't find BitCrasher in my FL version! I have FL 9. Do you know where to find it?

  • @PigNoreMC The one I use in this video is a freeware plugin; if you google "free bitcrusher" you should find it. You could also use Fruity Squeeze for a downsampling effect.

  • this is fucking hard

  • GREAT TUTORIAL THANKS SO MUCH

  • ok using Sytrus is way cooler than 3xOsc

  • Very good tutorial, learned a lot more about how to make the best use of Sytrus than you normally get in a wobble tutorial.

  • I fucking deleted it on accident.... FUCK!!! THIS!!! SHITTT!!!

    P.S Not the video :P

  • thnkkkkkkkkkkkk you so much bro <3 ;D

    Kit10

  • man ive been producin for three years on fl 5 then 8. you used buttons i didnt even know was there. great video, should or could be a teacher. ive been to college and the pace that you teach at is perfect. maybe not for you tube but if people took notes instead of pause clicking w the mouse they could go to daw later and have it. but i pause clicked too . i got lost afer phrase harmonics . i lost punch somewhere. great video though.

  • 5 people have issues with hand eye coordination

  • FINALLY!!!! A tutorial where the guy doesn't mumble, rant, or talk about nonsense while straying away from the point. Thank you sir for getting straight to the point and making this as painless as possible

  • omg thank you so much!!! really!! thx!

  • i cant find the bit cruser thing. wheres it at?

  • When I switch the out to F1, then I go to play a note, nothing happens. What did I do wrong?

  • @Cannabliss92 Ha, thanks. I realized what I did wrong about four seconds after posting the comment. XD Derp...

  • Mother of God...

These are the most educational dubstep tutorials I've seen on YouTube.

  • jesus fucking christ im new to this program just started today and this all Chinese to me hahaha trying my best to get a hang of it but dam it hard to use well for a noob like me i just wanna make mean beats for my mates and me but if i get good enough i wanna sell the shit

  • Thanks for the info but next time you make a video on how to do something slow down you were way to fucking fast

  • wher edo u get sytrus???

  • @TechnoDogge A demo of it comes with FL Studio... the full version comes with the Signature bundle of FL Studio. If you don't use FL, you can get a vst version from Image-Line.

  • @IVTheFourth

found it now ;D thanks for the tut man, it was really helpful and sounded AWESOME!

  • very helpful tut. good job.

  • damn finaly a good tutorial that explains how to create tha dubstep melody thanks a lot man

  • yeeeaaahh nice done man ! youre make the right tutorial, i have wondered how it work.. now i can produce :)

  • excellent tutorial :D! how would i make the wobble sound 'wet' and 'liquidy' instead of dry and filthy?

  • @LiftingPeanuts Play around with the filter (resonance, cutoff, mode, etc.). You also might want to use a more basic waveform for the source... like a saw or square for example. Maybe even layer a few more basic waveforms so it isn't quite a simple square/saw. Don't use any distortion after the filter and it probably isn't needed before it either to get the sound you want.

  • @IVTheFourth OK mate, I thought you would say something along the lines of this, just checking. I'll give it a go as soon as I get the chance. thanks

  • During the whole tutorial you are playing what the wobble sounds like as you change it, but I have no idea how to listen to it?

  • @SNAILCAKES just press a key, probably on the lower row.

  • My OP1 On sytrus is completely different There is no cut menu? Can someone plzz help thanks :)

  • ey you! could you upload a preset for ur settings so I can use them :))) I rly dont want to quit making dubstep... so plzplzplz do it :)

  • @Linnet5 I didin't save a preset of this bass, but I have another bass already up for download. It's not as good, but i think it will help until you figure out what's wrong. /watch?v=g-qX3iS3Odo

  • I could do every thing in this video b4... but now suddenly... I cant drag up the triangle at 1:36... why is that?? I re-installed fl studio and its still the same... help plz :S

  • @Linnet5 there might be two (or more) points there, so try right clicking it and then deleting until you don't have the otion to delete. Then see if you can drag it up. If that doesn't work I'm not sure what the problem is

  • @IVTheFourth actually... there are none points at all.. like 3 hours ago it worked fine now it dosnt -.-... things like this make me angry :@... thx for trying to help though

  • @Linnet5 When you see the triangle there is a orange dot to the very left of it simply just drag that up to the top

  • thanks man, finnaly someone that helped

  • Im just memorizing it :L

  • u are the best, finally a good tutorial

  • Thank You So Much man!!! I subbed, Liked and faved the video because your the only tutorial that gave me the sound I want :) THANK YOU SO MUCH BRO :D

  • finaly some easy tutorial what my stupid brains understand XD tnx

  • 'which vst are u using when u are on the mixer?

  • @bloodychekmate it's just called "Bitcrusher." It's freeware, and you can probably find it easily if you search for "free bitcrusher" on google. You could use fruity squeeze or any other downsampling plugin as well.

  • @IVTheFourth ive alredy seen that vst in other dubstep tutorials..thats why i wanted to know. Thank u so much mate you have talent

  • i'm new to fl, i got my wobble, but how do i get it into my track?

  • @SquareHeads09 Click the arrow on the top left of Sytrus then select "Save preset as..." and make a name for it. Then add a sytrus in the flp of your song and select that new preset from the preset menu

  • @IVTheFourth thank you, but i now need to know how to get the piano tune i made to the track selector (from sytrus)

  • Thank you <3

  • Thanks for the Help!

  • i'm putting you in the credits for my first song, this is by far the best tutorial for dubstep bass i've seen

  • Massive is obviously the better VST for it.

  • @UglyStru Massive is great, but Sytrus is equally as good or even better if you know how to use it.

  • @IVTheFourth Would you mind creating a tutorial on how to compose dubstep? I know how to make all the sounds, how to add the drums, etc. I just don't know how to put it all together (like an introduction, buildup, drop, etc.) or would you know of any tutorials that show that?

  • @UglyStru I'm in the process of planning one out now; once I finish planning all the parts, I'll start recording

  • @IVTheFourth Thanks so much, dude. I'm in serious need of a tut like that. Kev Willow's was way too hard to follow and contained so much unnecessary shit (not to mention his accent pissed me off to no end). You just earned another dubscriber :)

  • I have FL 9 and it wont let me mess around with the sounds. Like, take sounds away, and such.

  • how do you make a wobble that goes first fast and then slows down?

  • @SixTacchini You can play around with the lfo shape or automate the speed... OR you can draw in an envelope instead of using the lfo and customize it so it's exactly how you want

  • @IVTheFourth i just got FL n i was wondering the same thing about the wobble fast to slow, could u make a tutorial or something cuz im not great with this program yet

  • @xBerserk7x Click to see more of my videos then watch "Dubstep Wobble Bass Speed Tutorial (FL Studio)." I think that's what you're looking for.

  • Somebody knows how to get it into the Piano-Roll?

  • Hey, I don't have the Bitcrusher at 5:16. Why? I tried to go into "More" to find it, but I couldn't. And I have the same FL Studio as you, version 9.

  • @MissScardoll It doesn't come with FL Studio. You can download it for free (Google "free bitcrusher") or use Fruity Squeeze instead.

  • @IVTheFourth Thx!

  • holy shit this is a good video it helped me alot

  • GREAT TOTURIAL!!!!!!!!!! thanks alot

  • hey at 1:35 after you turned of global "...turn this all the way up..." i dont have that orange button. any ideas?

  • This is a very good tutorial thanks man!

  • is sytrus free??

  • @MNewt830 dude it comes with fl studio.

  • @Music2Hype i cant find it

  • @MNewt830 In the top menu of FL, go Channels>Add one>Sytrus. It should be there I'd think.

  • @MNewt830 Well i dont know what version of fl studio u have but i have fl studio 9 and i just press channels on the top and then press sytrus. I honestly dont know if sytrus comes witht he older fl studio aswell.

  • MAKE SURE U PRESS OPEN AND NOT SAVE! if u press save it will save what u have as the triangle instead of the actual triangle that u are supposed to open. I did this and now i have to re download my fl studio

  • Why don't I have bitcrusher? :(

  • Can you please make a free filthy dubstep template!!! please :)DDDD i downloaded ur other templates but i need the filthy dubstep one il pay you like anything :D

  • Dude your freaking awsome! Thank You for the tutorial, you really helped me get started here, keep up the good work!!

  • how come when im in sytrus and i do something it doesnt make a sound like yourrs

  • @CarbonCinemaPS3 its cause he's pushing the shortcut keys. you can use your keyboard as the piano keys. try it out and you'll see.

  • Wow, I am like following instructions while watching it. So every move I pause, follow it, then press play again and repeat. xD

  • @PandoraLotus88 same!

  • @PandoraLotus88 which begs the question, "WHY CANT YOU RESIZE THE DAMN WINDOW WHEN YOU RESTORE IT!?" >:U

  • Just what i needed! Thanks

  • OH nvm i saw what i did wrong thanks!

  • Dude I was getting excited as hell then I couldnt find the CUT because im on the demo version im so pisseddd....What version do you have? And how much was it

  • @LSWleaderLuke

Cut is in the Filter 1 tab.

Cut is not in the Op 1 tab.

  • Hahaha you sound like McLoven

  • Hey man great tutorial! I'm giving this a try for sure :D

  • Hey would you know why the LFO speed and "edit events"( when right click on that knob) won't work? When I play a note and adjust the knob, the speed of the wobble doesn't change, nor does the speed change when I go to 'edit events' where you can set the LFO speed to change while it's playing.

  • @danthordan my only thought is that you're changing the LFO speed in the wrong filter... if that's not the issue I'm not sure of what the problem would be

  • @danthordan change the LFO speed in the CUT when your in filter 1

  • Nice bro. good stuff :D

  • man i downloaded bitcrusher but where should i put it to show up in fl studios?

  • btw I don't know how to record this. If I try with the rec button, it records my mic too. And after 'recording' I can't hear any sounds other than FL Studio. After closing it, I have to open a sound file and play it in WMP and THEN I can hear things like youtube. It is kinds weird. How the recording should work? I'm curious because now I can't listen to anything else than FL after that recording shit... -.-'

  • @cabteenigaming I don't fully understand what or why you are recording, but the issue with not being able to use other programs that have audio is probably due to the use of the "asio" driver when you're recording. The asio driver is great, but only allows for audio to be played out of one program (FL Studio) while it is in use. When you close FL Studio it automatically changes back to your main sound driver so you can listen to itunes, youtube, etc all at the same time.

  • @IVTheFourth I mean recording the dub bass. I thought recording this is different than putting in the sounds from the library. I got it work somehow but FL got my microphone at the same time for some reason so I had to delete it and stuff... =(

  • "Hope you liked the tutorial." Man, how I couldn't like this! This helped me soooooo much I am a noob in FL Studio and I thought there were only the basic sound effects, but making dubstep is now possible! I thank you and have a nice day. =)

  • Im the fourth too!!!

  • Thank you so much you helped me a lot!

  • Thank you so much dude!

  • Tyvm bro, Im off to create some doubbbstep

  • wish i watched this tutorial when i was making my dubstep song haha :D

  • @luigi1098 haha, cheers bro :D

  • @luigi1098 same here :)

  • How should i save this?

  • @xRandom4000 The arrow on the top left of Sytrus then select "Save preset as..."

  • im going to try this but im going to use squeeze in the effects.

  • dude i "wub" you.

  • ahm i don't have that bitcrusher thing what should i do?

  • @bmxreaper666 it's a free plugin. google "bitcrusher free plugin" and it'll be one of the top links.

  • @IVTheFourth thanks a lot i really apreciate your help peace out

  • wub wub <3

  • I enjoyed watching though i didint wanna learn how to make that wobble ;)

  • @DJWordinator The video is supposed to give you the idea on how to make your basses more filthy in general... the key is to play around a lot and tweak until happy.

  • @IVTheFourth Yea i got that :P

  • Thanks
