They shot a pod. Incase you don't know what it is, a pod is what paintballers use to refill their hoppers (The thing loading paint on top. They normally hold about 140 balls. That was a 140.

It didn't look like you had a plunger at the bottom. Try packing some cardboard rings at the bottom of the barrel to act as a plunger. Should get more force and a higher FPS from the gun.
