  • This is awesome footage. I have it too and wore it out watching so much. He was AMAZING in every way and so inspiring in many ways and is really missed. I love when he says here "What are we doing if were not being sincere, we're just mess'in around...that's not what this is about". He's SO right, I feel the same. Love his words of wisdom. Thanks for all Stevie.

  • whats the song at 1:01

  • @kjkjg1 Riviera Paradise

  • Any possible connection between Stevie Ray Vaughan and music today is purely coincidental.

  • Sure wish I was that First wife ♥ you sweet ANGEL ♥ ♥ ♥

  • Yup, 1:16. what's the best thing that could happen to you now? "To keep on going." How sad :(

  • 1:15 to 1:22 makes any SRV fan sad, to see them sooooo happy and on top of the world and then to take that away....... truly a sad sad crime. RIP Stevie, we / i will miss you!!

  • Cliches, cliches, cencerety? He did read it in a book!!

  • Love you Stevie! Forever!

  • MY HERO. god i swear i could cry right now..takes a real man to cry over his dead hero. make fun if u like.

  • @metal4life160 Woulda been fine until you said how much of a man you are lol.

  • Ahh... Legends. I have this on tape from when it first aired. I wish it could have been 2 hours long instead of one. 1 hour is not long enough to tell his story and there was a ton left out.

  • she doesnt talk back she talks for me!! gotta love it...

  • gah! why did this video have to end. i wanna hear more

  • he left all of us wanting to hear more!

  • urr just a quick question... what does he say at 1:43 ?

  • He says "hey guys"

  • what are you hearing?

  • interviewer says "hey kids" and SRV says "hey guys"

  • Texas Prince

  • dayum i wish i could have met him

  • Same here, he would be a fun-guy to know

  • HE WAS A VERY SWEET SPIRIT!!

  • Welp he's in heaven I'm sure

  • That I believe!!! I d known him from 14-17 years old..My famiy had a Blues band then...

  • YOU WOULD HAVE LOVED HIM!!!

  • i love him...he was just awesome in so many ways

  • Riviera Paradise.. a clasic and one of best instrumental songs ever made..

  • Amen :D

  • Dont forget about LENNY i think is the best song ever!!!! ive been trying for 8 years to play that song on my strat but to play like stevie is just impossible. dont care who u are u cant do it

  • I wish with all my heart that I could play the guitar like that... I would give nearly anything. This sounds trite again but music is my first love... maybe watching this stuff is a Pandora's box because it opened my eyes to that all over again...

  • I feel the same way about my guitar, this sounds trite, but it's my first love.

  • Search "the reigns trio" sick version of little wing

  • A great man of the South! ☻

  • this man is my idol. he's just doing what he loves to do and is following his heart. why did he have to die!!! his soul is probobly mingling in the strings of his guitars.

  • this is really good cheers

  • ...yeah ..most attractive Signature Guitar of all time.. to me! But I once read, that is was actually a `62 with a ´63 Neck... and the neck broke more than once .. But it don´t matter, when you look at it... It´s one of the best looking guitars and maybe the best looking Strat of all time!

  • Actually its a 63 body and neck with 59 pickups, a lefty trem (unknown origin) etc. The neck was getting wore out so he put the one from "red" on it, and thats the one that got broke. He went to a fender repro neck after that happened. :)

  • FirstProject said: Actually its a 63 body and neck with 59 pickups, a lefty trem (unknown origin) etc.

LOL . . . No. 1 looked like a train wreck, but the heavenly sound that issued forth . . . amazing!

  • I think that he had to have every part on that guitar replaced at some point or another.

  • "She's a '59 Stratocaster,she doesnt talk back to me,she talks for me."

  • Mind Body and Soul, and Heart and Wisdom. Just listening to him talk makes you really feel like you are hearing philosophy from the master. I love him so much. I'm glad I got to see him , once. I'll never forget him.

  • man, i tell ya, there was just somthing different about him, besides the fact that he was the greatest soulful guitar that ever lived. I mean, I have seen some really good guitar players that are hiting thae same notes but there is just somthin missing. and that is soul. soul in music and soul in life,

onda, heart, something that is getting more and more rare.

  • "There's just a feeling. It's not something you can just read in a book, it's not something that you can just [go] and grab a bite of it and eat. It's something that's, there. It's something that you grew up with. I don't know if it's the dirt, the water, the air. But hope to God, it's all of them."

  • wow!!! stevie ray is the best.i'm proud to be from oakcliff,if only i was born 10 years earlier!he will always rule!!!!

  • Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!

  • post all of these pleeeeeaaaaaaassses!!!!

  • post all of these pleeeeeaaaaaaassses!!!!

  • SRV IS THE BOSS MENNNNNN!!!!!!

  • Gotta love him.

  • I agree with 50unitedstates! I love behind the scenes and interviews with/of Stevie. I wish I could find some completed ones instead of clips from some of them..I mean, the whole thing has to be somewhere! lol. But thanks for posting! I love this stuff!

  • blueslover102, theres a couple of videos of his speech after being in rehab its pretty deep man, you should listen to them. he talks about his upbringing and how his dad was an alchohalic. its just a really deep speech.

  • Yeah I listened to all of those. In a way it was really depressing hearing him talk about what he went through, but I'm glad he found some peace with everything before he died. I just wish he could have stayed with us longer.

  • yeah man

  • Stevie WAS the best guitar player who ever lived bar none.

  • Stevie was the best at being Stevie. He would tell you you were wrong in your estimation, though. He was investigating other players beyond his own skill level. So how could he be the best?

He'd also tell you, too many ways to play that dang thing to designate anyone as best.

Music ain't sports. It's expression. Guitar is a mode of expression. Stevie played his soul. He is missed by many, but lives on..

  • @flags6262 agree 1,000%

  • @flags6262 respectfully disagree, but yes hes incredible

  • Why doesn't some company compile EVERYTHING on SRV and put it on a DVD's and release it?? I wish there were more COMPLETE interviews and behind the scenes stuff with him available for purchase. You know some big company out there has tons of footage of SRV no one has ever even seen yet!! Makes me mad! Anyway, thanks for posting this. PEACE

  • I agree complete with you but i think it all comes down to big business, money, copyrights and legal stuff unfortunately...an example of something that should be released in my opinion would be dvd of the riverboat shows.

  • cool

  • boy was he piss-drunk on clip 2 !!

  • haha in every interviews he was drunk/high

i dont know why he did this on interviews

i mean ive never seen an interview that he wasnt wasted except when he got sober

  • I guess almost every interview. When he and Chris Layton spoke, Stevie was clean and sober, in the 'Much Music' too. Thank God he could stop to do that bad stuff. But after that I can't understand why he died...that's really sad to me. Miss you Stevie.

  • interviews are gold!

  • more!
