They are asking for many things they want the removal of the Valiye Faqih Islamic Spiritual leader they want an accounting of their votes, they want all political prisoners that are being murdered raped tortured to be released immediately
I meant what did the protesters want, i.e how radical were/are they. From my understanding the situation is a lot more radical than what you are suggesting. i.e to overthrow the whole regime, it may not be quite the situation it was in the late 70s but it could develop, workers councils, workers/community control etc etc... I appreciate the demands you have mentioned obviously but they seem to me to be minimum demands.

I'm not entirely sure what referendum but I don't think anything can radically change through parliamentary means. The other two could be used by imperialisms as cover and support quite easily especially 'Free Iran' It's like you're (not you personally) are asking for action from other nation states when it should be all workers themselves.
The referundom Iranaians inside and ouside country want is just to freely vote for the type regime in Iran i.e. The Costitutional monarchy, Repulic but secullar not religous...
Free Iran means 'A Free Iran' and we are not asking any Nation to go and free Iran, our people are doing the best, but we need support from the world community specialy in the west.
It 's not too much to ask to put dimplomatic sanction on the government or Shut Down of Iranian Embassies in west.
Sanctions hurt the working class, the rich remain rich and will/can afford the black market in Iran. I would have thought direct support to radical workers would be the best support you could give. Screaming at embassies for a less oppressive leader is a bit SWP at best if you ask me. Even shooting up embassies in the past has proved futile and misguided (Angry Brigade, Franco's fascist Spain etc). Still, all the best. They hurt one, they hurt us all. Your fight is our fight.
