Who said Sanda guys couldn't do MMA?!. I wanted to see more of that high roundhouse, though:). Congrats on the book, a great read that I've been recommending to everybody.
@pjkiger Ha! Yes as long as we sanda guys can keep the fight standing... I was holding back that high roundhouse for Round 3 :) Thanks so much for spreading the good word about the book. Matt
I am about halfway done with your book and thoroughly enjoying it. It would have made for a great documentary in the same spirit as 'Super Size Me' where the protagonist is a human guinea pig of sorts. I follow MMA religiously so I am already familiar with even the lesser known characters that pop up in the book like GSP's jiu jitsu trainer etc. Great stuff!
@AlohaSpiccoli So glad to hear that you are enjoying it. The book does have a very "Super Size Me" feel to it, doesn't it. I hadn't thought of that before. Feel free to tell you friends about the book. It'd be great for it to reach as wide an audience as possible. We are trying to sell the rights to the book to Hollywood.
I just finished reading Tapped out and I just wanted to thank you for the great experience! As a mmafanboy I really loved it. I wish you the best Matt, thank you!
I just read your book, to tell you the truth you gotten from regular-looking for journey american, to hard core-cold blood-person toward the end of the book. also on that list while you deleted, got rid of coward, you still had alittle mean, to get read of, no offence.
@monkeyusa111 No offense taken. I did get a little mean towards the end. MMA is a tough sport. I'll have to work on my spiritual side for the next book :)
