Great climber. BETTER if you widen the wheelbase. I saw someone do it with a small body kit that simply adds flared wheel arches with durable plastic that matches the plastic trim.

Not my video but you have to do a poor man's lift and a 2 inch body lift. All for about 150 bucks if you do it yourself. 31's fit stock..no rubbing.

3 inch suspension and a 2 inch body lift will fit 33s without any issues

2nd gens will fit 33's in most cases stock w/o any rub or a minor "melt mod".. depends on the rig

mine'a a first gen and there's no way 33's will fit stock. 31 10.5 15's bolted right on , no rubbing at full stuff and steering lock to lock....if anyone cared. xterra's work about as good as if not better than most 4x4's stock vs stock. I think even better than any jeep except of course the rubicon. I'm not a jeep hater either, xterra's just more practical for me.

Actually, here in Canada, Nissan does void waranties if you take your X off-road, even if you have an 05+ Off-road edition!!!!
