i got a black and a white of this case and it goes on and comes off without taking off the spine. you just have to put it in from the top first and slide the bottom over it. they fits really nice and gives a lot of protection to the phone. i have a 3g and a 3gs and it fits amazing on both of em.

after i saw this review i decided to order em. if you are think of buying this case go ahead, don't hesitate. i ordered them off the website

@TheSamee LOL, that's so funny.. you're right, someone can just take our mail but usually all the good stuff we get comes via Fedex, UPS or DHL.. usually we just get bills in the mail so that's probably why nobody steals the mail :)

i've heard comments about it sagging on the bottom with the black. does this one have that?

Some of the rebels have sagged on the bottom and some seem to hold up ok.. I think they used to have more of a problem a long time ago and the more recent ones seem to be ok.. I don't have any of them that are real bad though.. they just sag a little bit. thanks

Which case do you like more? The white or black serpent? You should do a review comparing it to the incase slider....I have a hard time deciding which one I like more.

I like the Incase Slider better than the Serpents.. but if you're looking for a slider case, I would go with rebelscholar. com I like their cases even better than the Incase slider.. they have more variety of colors and styles. My full review on them will be up sometime this week. Thanks

I got this case a while ago and mine is also exposing the chrome at the bottom. Too bad :( Won't be getting another switcheasy case...

yeah, I know.. after a while it starts getting loose on the bottom. I wish they could come up with a better design for the bottom because I do like the case. Thanks for the comment

That serpent looks 10x better than the capsule. Do they have serpent spines in bright colors?

no, unfortunately, they don't have them available in bright colors.

I use Sony Vegas 8 Pro. Great editing software.. The only problem is I need a new computer.. My 4 year old Pentium 4 isn't able to keep up with the editing and preview screen. Thanks for the comment!

Nice review, loving the kids in the background making fun of you, so funny. I find most cases camera holes are off very slightly, but never enough to obscure the lense.

hey nice case do you have any issues taking pictures? does the case get in the way?

Thank you for your comment! The hole that is cut out for the camera lens is definitely offset and not perfectly centered, however, it does not affect me taking pictures in any way.. meaning the lens is not covered at all, just off set a little bit... The Rebel cases are very cool looking. I own 4 of them now. thanks for the quick comment :-) I had the Capsule Neo I believe, but the bottom piece kept breaking off I ordered 3-4 replacement spines which I received for free... But they kept breaking so I asked them to send me a Serpent... It's on its way :D

I haven't ordered the Neo yet. It seems like it would take a while to put the case on because of the white flimsy silicone piece you put on first and then trying to get the rest on. I guess that's why I held off getting that one. That's cool that Switcheasy is taking care of you by sending out replacement spines and when that didn't work, sending you the Serpent. You will like the Serpent, that is pretty much my favorite case right now. I have the white and black one.
