@ddduppie couldnt tell you that tbh. When i had mine done (which was through the bottom) it hardly bled and same with my partner. at the end of the day i think it depends more on your body, some will bleed more than others, but if they hit those main vessels your gunna bleed alot more than most people lol

@ddduppie basically you can see all the main arteries etc at the bottom of your tongue so you can position the needle in the correct place and then its pretty impossible to go through and basically fuck your tongue up. Doing it through the top is still fine but theres more risk of hitting the vessels as you cant see where the needles gunna come out. Basically both ways are fine but going through the top is riskier.

idiot didnt even check where he was putting it. He firstly could have put it through one of the main vessels which could have killed herk, secondly theres a part in the middle of your tongue that if it gets pierced your tongue will swell more than usual to the point you cant breath properly. If you want your tongue done get it done by a professional. It doesnt hurt so why take the risk? the only difference to this than a normal tongue piercing is the lack of clamps and he went through the top!

Well i had mine done just over a week ago and i went to Piercing Planet in Brisbane. They clamped my tongue and then slowly pushed the needle through my tongue :) Im only 13 too. It didnt really hurt and i didnt bleed they were very proffesional there and i could eat after about 4 days :D

i wanna get mine done, it doesn't look like it hurts at all, but then again it is a needle going threw your skin so, but my friend was telling me it hurts just about the same as a lip piercing. & i have my septum pierced (& my lip) & my septum hurt so it can't be worse than that i dunno.

you can ge the kit on ebay for like 24 dollars. i did it by myself.. i do all my piercings by myself but i would really ask you to look up about the tongue and where to pierce it. message me for more information if you want or need tips

Yes it is long. This is only because your tongue usually swells up and stays that way for a couple of days after the piercing. If the bar is too short, it will basically become in vetted in your tongue. When the swelling goes down, after two weeks you can change the piercing. :D

I got mine pierced about 3 months ago, and it only swelled for like 2 days, and i was sluring my words a bit. dont listen to all the people who freak out.

It dosnt veen hurt that bad, and after about a month of it being in your mouth and taking care of it.

You literally forget its there and you dont have to clean it anymore, minus your normal daily brushing and stuff

If you are considering it, I say go for it
