  • Somebody needs to render this with a super computer and put it in IMAX

  • wonderful fractal geometry, which fractal is this and which program are you using?

  • @MathematicsOverCocoa Mandelbulb3D+Virtualdub

  • smoke weed. press play. it's almost to the LSD point. very intense...

  • I find is extremely fascinating that there are perfectly flat surfaces in this almost random world.

  • ero convinto che cose cosi' si potessero vedere solo con un trip...................

  • i dont understand how the fractal is morphing as you zoom in or out? arent fractals supposed to be fixed structures?

  • @reynoldsvideos Hi and thanks for your comment. I don't know where you have seen that fractals are supposed to be fixed structures. Actually, by modifying the fractal's numeric parameters, there are infinite morphing possibilities :-)

  • @bib993 so are these fractals being altered in real time o t are they preprogrammed to alter as you zoom in and out?

  • @reynoldsvideos Hi, no this is not real time. Everything is programmed.

  • @reynoldsvideos His computer is trying to render the fractal as the video is moving, so you get the solid geometric shapes throughout as his computer cannot keep up.

  • Freaky!

  • epic

  • It´s a nature-principle. Thanx! You made me couraged for exploring what´s possible...

  • Why do i keep feeling that this stuff acctualy excists deep beyond the microscopical boundaries of our reality?

  • totally floored by this amazing art! words cant describe

  • brilliant ... very inspiring

  • Very cool Fractal animation!!!

  • @FXshortFILM You might want to search google for Mandelbulb3D tutorials to start with. Please post any further question on fractalforums. Thanks!

  • @FXshortFILM You can upload a background image using the background pic tab in the lighting window.

  • @FXshortFILM Mandelbulb3D

  • @bib993 Just got it and I am starting to see my animation creation from now on going in new and twisted directions

  • if u reverse that and make it SUPER fastfoward it would actually be kind of like the first 10 seconds of a DMT voyage into the hyperpurpleDome! :D

  • This is a really great one!

  • proof god exists

  • I feel like I learned something watching this... but I have no idea what :) Definitely one of the best fractal animations I've seen!

  • Fantastic! Journey, great subtle param morphing.

  • Great video - love fractals!

  • WOW !!

  • Absolutely fantastical!!!! =^..^=

  • Amazing work...

  • It's an amazing ,beautiful and enchanted trip;very well done,my friend bib993;i just wished to continues to travel...so nice!

  • super cool

  • Brilliant as ever. The soundscape is intense. Is it original?

  • @kameelian Artist: Demogorgon, Song: Crying After a Heart Attack, Album: The Last Few Days

  • fantabulous,excellant work

  • this is virtual LSD

  • @highvoltaged stare at this then look at another page preferably dark and not moving the page will seem to move

  • Awesome, delicate parameter choreography... Well done!

  • I can do nothing but stare stunned in jaw-dropping silence at what you are doing now. Your interpretations are unbelievable, let alone your technical ability.

  • Anyone watching this, should watch it till the end. Maybe its the music, but it was fantastic to watch!

  • Oh, man, this was awesome. Great pulsating orange thingies in the beginning, and the motion paths afterwards were so smooth. Great job!

  • I love your animations!

  • @xlace Thanks :) Are you prepared to program reflections in MBulber? I'm just testing a beta version of M3D and it rocks, Jesse is incredible!

  • What do fractals mean?

  • Complex math. Wikipedia fractal.

  • @SteveArpo Hi, I'm no expert but, my understanding is it is the study of the laws governing the boundary layers which lie between stable states.

The book "Chaos" is a good place to start.

  • Whhooooaaa! My whole lab watched it. The first comment (after "ooooh!") was, "this would look great on IMAX."
