Is there a shortcut or something to make the computer detect the mouse strokes with better precision? Every single time I try to draw a line or a curve with the mouse, the resulting stroke is anything but a line/curve.

1. How much did you have to practice before being able to draw fluidly with a mouse? This guide doesn't help people like me, who just want to pick up a mouse and be aided by the program to draw. That, and I have one hour tops to practice anyway.

2. That video *must* have been speeded up. Or else you're a genius drawing with such a lame peripherical as a mouse.

3. In case the only way to draw a face with a mouse is hours of practice, which recommendations would you give to practice "faster"?

1. I've been drawing for years with pencils and tablet, I also do pixel art which I did for quite sometime with a mouse. I cannot fluently draw with my mouse without a curve tool, it comes out far too squiggley. No guide is going to help you magically get better. Practice is what does.

2. Video was indeed sped up, I can't remember by how much but enough to bring it from 60 minutes to a reasonable 7 minute video.

@lunaglory09 Are you making a new layer? If not you should get used to doing so. If you're coloring solely with airbrush I suggest doing lineart in one layer and color in another; make sure you set the color layer under the lineart layer. Anything that gets out of the lines you can erase. :)

@KousAB10 I will make a tutorial on that. You actually can't change a downloaded file to a lineart layer as far as I know. To color you'd have to create all color layers above it, making sure to set the base color on multiply.

@asfan89 Umm, I don't think Sai has any "versions" really. You should have it, you have to click the linework layer button (see 0:11) and then the edit tool is the first tool in the second row. ^_^;
