hammer horror films were the best. so much better than the crap that passes for horror vampire films today like that twilight bullshit. this is what a real vampire film is supposed to look like. beautifully photgraphed sharp acting crisp dialog spoken in proper english chilling dramatic musical score....these people making horror films today could/should learn a thing or 10 from these masterpieces of filmmaking.

hammer was regarded as somewhat brutal and bloody these days.how times have changed.the movies gained something through the years but if you like your movies more sophisticated check "The innocents" a robert wise film with deborah kerr in the star role or "kiss of the vampire", another hammer production .

A brilliant and very under-rated Horror Flick.This is one of the best ones ever made.

I know a few things do not add up in it like the Chain could not hold him.However it

But, vampire films seem to always be creating NEW ways to get rid of them.

Iin Hammer's two modern Dracula films, Van Helsing stabs Dracula with a silver knife and tries to shoot him with silver bulets before being knocked-out.

In "House of Dark Shadows" the police create at least 100 silver bullets in about two days that must "strike the heart".

Smartest cops in a vampire flick EVER! lol

Thanks for uploading. I grew up watching Hammer films and loved them. It's too bad these hardly ever come on TV any more. Among the things I appreciate most about Hammer films are their vibrant color and scoring; they were (and are) a feast for the eyes and ears.
