  • Excelent video, thanks!!

  • Such a good example of what can be done when people work together :)

  • great looking climbing

  • :34 crying? lol

  • At 1:01 your anchor setup is significantly less safe with the knot in your sling, these hold up 24 kn but with the knot only 8 kn, avoid doing that. :)

  • @daveyella Lol

  • @daveyella I'm curious about this myself, where did you hear or read about that?

  • Best vid ive found for protection. thku :D

  • You should make more videos. I agree with the aforementioned sentiments that most vids on here are crapola. How about rappelling and anchor building? Nicely done.

  • Excellent Video! Some people have videos on here that you wish you could hit a delete button.. Thanks for putting the effort..

  • stupid question? once your partner retrieve your equipment how do you get back down? walk down with the rope you anchored to the rock but then how do u remove it from the rock?

  • @h1mans abseil or walk if possible

  • Excellent video with some lovely shots. Its a shame that there was no dvd made.

  • The best climbing instructional video I've seen so far.

Entertaining even for those who've been climbing for a while.

  • great video

  • Great video! Excellent actually !!

  • this is the most informative vid by far! =D

  • @vivalamirez agreed!

  • Execllent!

  • excellent video guys!

  • was there an actual dvd produced?

  • @irelandrufc Unfortunately not...

  • thank you very much this video helped alot! :)

  • I'm not one to needlessly criticise youtube vids, on the whole this one was good but I did notice at about 5:50 where he places the hex, he clips the crab with the gate facing into the rock. There's a small but genuine risk of the gate opening on contact with the rock in a fall, reducing the strength of the crab to about 1/3 of normal.

  • great video

very clear and easy to understand everything :) 10/10

was there a full movie produced???

  • Was the actual DVD ever produced ?

  • nice video!

  • the one thing I would say is that make sure biners don't run over rocks.

  • Now that they're at the top with all their gear out of the rock, how do they get down safely?

  • @lehman you can walk down there might be lower off chains sometimes you may have to leave gear behind at the top, only very cheap stuff, very often though other climbers will have left gear before you, and if between you and your climbing partner you agree, you set up your own anchor in case the one that someone has left fails, then the heavier of the two goes down, if it fails, your system catches, if not the second one down can remove your stuff then go down on the previously left gear

  • By far the most thorough and awesome video on trad climbing.

  • Thanks for the great instruction.

  • very well done video

  • good video!!!! gracias

  • Very good production.

  • i think ur channel is the only one ive ever wanted to subscribe to.. so thats what ive done :)

  • Glad you guys are not over serious about putting out climbing instructional vids or I would be out of business. Yours is one of the better ones maybe not as good as mine but still pretty good.

  • Great instructional video. Nice section above the ocean. Is that the UK?

  • Hi, yes we shot that section at Bosigran in Cornwall.

  • @snowlineproductions Cool, have u climbed Door Post and Black Slab? =-)
