  • なぜこの女は返り血を浴びないんだ・・・・?

  • @tojichan1048 sorry i don't know Japanese

  • Great video. really liked the story. although next time when there are some rather intense scenes you should not lock your cam down. tried the more shaky cam style. it may or may not work. overall it was very good.

  • Is it just me or does this feel like it was heavily inspired by Dexter, what with the intro music and title logo and all?

  • @TheXboxSux yes its very DEXTER inspired i thought it would be something fun to shoot ...

  • @RUFFkutPRO

Well that's a good thing, as I love the SHIT out of Dexter.

    Great work.

Might I ask How you got those low light shots so noiseless?

What settings on the camera did you use? WB, creative mode, f setting, gain, exposure and apeture.

I've been having a hell of a time capturing good low light footage with mine. Grainy as hell

Did you do any major post edit color grading or correcting?

  • @TheXboxSux well for the camera setting standard mode want the image as flat as possible shutter at 1/30 -1/60 f3.5 as much as possible gain no higher than 12 after that its just tooo grainy custom WB ... as far as the low light .. i put as many light needed to get the look i wanted in camera then color corrected in post so it looks darker and got rid of a lot of graininess hope this helps what are you shooting in low light?
  • @RUFFkutPRO Well my work doesn't require as much detail, but still needs to be a noiseless as possible.

I shoot seminars ENG style and have a hell of a time with noise and sharpness.

From what i've seen, the VG10 look as though it's sharpness is subpar in low light compared to other DSLR cameras.

I'll dink with the settings more, but I guess i'll just have to live with it.

Maybe I need the HVR Z5 lol

  • @TheXboxSux

well for ENG stuff or any other live event i would go full auto on the camera settings because all the changes in light etc.. BUT for the sharpness i would do Manuel Focus .. the auto focus on this camera really sucks i wouldn't trust it ... and the noise issue might think about getting a faster lens .. i have a 50mm 1.4f and it is the best low light lens makes the camera sing ... hope this helps

  • @RUFFkutPRO

Yeah I noticed the Auto focus sucks. I assume this is because both auto focus and steady shot are built into the lens instead of being built into the body. Interesting design choice, but kind of hinders the idea of having a interchangeable DSLR style camcorder. I wonder what they were thinking.

What brand of lens is that 50mm 1.4?

    I'll have to buy it.

What's your take on the 16mm f 2.8 e mount pancake lens? Do you have it or use it at all?

The 1.4 sounds like a better buy.

  • @TheXboxSux 16mm is a pretty good lens

the one i use is a nikon 50mm .. you should get the one that fits your needs best ..

  • @RUFFkutPRO

That's just it. I'm lost when it comes to this lens stuff. Totally new to photography and DSLRs.

I've read enough to know that a lower f setting allows the lens to open up more and take in more light which is good for low light shots, but I get lost in all this science behind what glass is used how it's fitted into the lens and what's optimal for certain shots etc. etc.

I'll have to look at that nikon though. Sounds like it might work well for my needs

    Thanks =D
