Too bad this wont reach too many women. Women need to start loving themselves and stop looking for men to validate them. Sucks for all the good men out there. I dont know how many girlfriends Ive had that were so damaged and no amount of help or positive words I gave them ever did anything to turn their lives around. :-/
What a great story. I love your courage. This is so much needed, to see the light of real life in our world which is treated so 'mechanically' these days. Thanks for posting this.
sounds like a lot of her problems came from her relationships with people, not from stripping. same with most of the other testimonials on the website. being a sex worker doesn't automatically make you dysfunctional although i'm sure the two can be linked for some people. personally, i know a lot of sex workers who are fulfilled and happy with their jobs.
There are so many things I like about this video: music, cats, editing, but mostly... the theme. Harmony is clearly someone that took her dysfunctional situation, and is in-turn using that to help those who "aren't having a good time." The need is clearly there, and it takes such strength and courage to put not only yourself out there, but also the heated topic of religion. Helping those who want help? That's what we should all strive to do, and serves as a great example of how to move on.
i hope you realize that there are alot of people in sex industry that are happy with what they do. im saying this to get rid of the bias here on this video and to tell the whole side of the story here. you mentioned your past relationship and how unhealthy it was maybe that is why some people join the sex industry because they know relationships are not guaranteed. i understand you are explaining you religious experience but that a standard that cannot be proven (next page)
(continued) - you were explaining how people at church are so friendly but did it ever occur to you that we don't know how their relationships are at home, many people at church might have marital problems or divorces, most people at that men conference group called promise keepers admitted to watching porn. Church can be an opportunity to act differently and forget the reality of home life. if women feel guilt of doing porn, fine but overcome the guilt and move on.
@galbro48026 A.) You cannot assume that the majority of church-goers are just putting on a Sunday-Morning-Personality and then going home and living problematic lives. B.) "If women feel guilt of doing porn, fine but overcome the guilt and move on." Really? REALLY?? Do you realize the Psycological DAMAGE that can be incurred from sexual situations, even if they are consensual at the time?? Clearly you are ignorant, so stop dumping your ignorance on this heroic woman's story. Peace.
@XschindlerX hey man calm down it going to be ok. since you going to heaven after you die and all of us are going to hell maybe you should think twice before calling us ignorant for expressing our viewpoints, and regarding the sunday morning personally i have a question for you then? why is it that the average teen in church once they reach over 21 will mostly like leave church and never come back. why do you only see married people with kids, elderly couples. no single people in church.
@galbro48026 You mention that the average, let's say, college student will leave church and never come back. Then you say that the majority of churchgoers are married people, couples, elderly, etc...so...wouldn't that be a congregation consisting of people who may have left (or never did) and then came back...? That's really not the point here. I meant that you were ignorant to the psychological damage that can occur in sex-acts/sex-industries. It's easy for you to simply say "Get over it"
@XschindlerX When an natural person goes to churches they will expect to see many ranges of people, because if God is real his power will work in all ranges of people - married - single - youth - elderly - etc. and not just certain ranges of people. Christians claim that God will take people to heaven - bless them with a marriage life that is better than ours, and that God will love and talk to ppl, but going to church and saying "Hi how are you?" and smiling really hard doesnt cut it.

What she fails to see is the incredible irony. She got into dancing because she was mentally weak (and perhaps that wasn't her fault) and her boyfriend preyed on her.
Then, she just went from one crutch to another. Christianity is her new "deadbeat boyfriend," preying on her mental weakness.
Learn to stand on your own. Christianity is as much of a parasite as any junkie boyfriend - and it preys on the weak worse than the industry ever could.
She needs to meet Heather Veitch who founded the ministry called "The JC Girls", Heather Veitch use to be a stripper but founded Jesus.

Once again a woman shifting their own shitty life choices on to men. Women will never be equal with this retarded cop-out attitude...

Harmony, what you do is of good measure, and will be of a reward in Haven. But, Triple X Church? Taping> I mean those two
just don't go together.
I thought you Had more respect then associating your self with a name like that.

Triple X Church is a program for people struggling with pornography. So it makes sense that she told her story to them.
