How can anyone in their right mind, slaughter these magnificent Angels loaned to us from God? I couldn't watch this video without crying and listening to that song.....well, every time I hear it I cry. May God punish those that hurt His Angels. Every time I touch my mare, I can't help but think of all the ones that don't have anyone to love them. It's not right, it's just not right.

Who would have known it.... that few days after I adopted her she would give birth to the funniest and sweetest colt that ever lived .Angelic Sir "Dewey" RIP my boy you will live in our hearts forever!

The photos of the woman trying to comfort the horse that was in obvious distress is heartwrenching. The pain she was feeling was almost tangible and was clear in her eyes. Eyes which were filled with so much compassion, love, and understanding yet the reflected her rage and accusation at the same time.
Brought me to tears and made me feel like I had been right there through that ordeal with all of them.
This is an awsome video.. we need more then spreading the word.. we need funding to be able to care for these horses that have been thrown away. We NEED federal or state funding... and also regulations and requirements for rescues..so that the animals are cared for when taken in.. keep up the great work.. I know that we are full... and almost every rescue that I am aware of is at capacity or almost.. God Bless

So moving -- especially the pictures of the one who was too badly neglected to live. "Ivy" at least left the world with dignity and love, not cruel butchery.
Note that there are NOT 100,000 unwanted horses -- they are wanted very much, by the butchers. Tell your legislators to vote to make transport to slaughter for human consumption illegal!

1. Spread the word! There are far more perfectly good horses in the US than there are homes for them.
2. Help your local horse rescue agency. Get your friends to help, too.
3. Discourage breeding.
WHATEVER you do, don't do nothing!
