I've beaten him...once.

You have to hit every boost, not slow down in the water, not run into him or walls, and you have to know exactly when to turn.

And I notice that most games made by nintendo in the 64 days were hard as hell!

Flawless game. As a very young kid I barely beat the bosses. Some years later I managed to beat almost all Silver Coin challenges besides 2 levels on Dragon's Forest. Sometime after that I completed all Silver Coin challenges and was to face Wizpig. Beat him just to realize that there was a new exiting chapter to explore. Then after some struggle, Adventure 2 looked at me.

To beat the first battle with this guy it is simply a matter of using the dash panels consecutively to pull ahead while keeping your finger off the accelerator when going over them. It is a hard boss battle but it is nothing compared to the second fight where the course is rigged with traps trying to knock you out of the race.

Ahh....wizpig. I just re-bought this game, and it took me less than an hour to beat him. The second time, same thing, less than an hour. He is definantly a challenge, bot the first race is harder than the second. Here's some tips for beating wizpig:

1. Use pipsy, (she is very fast and has great handeling.)

2. Learn the speed boost trick (release the A button before you drive over the speed boost, if done correctly you will have green fumes indicating you got the extra boost)

The sequel was SUPPOSED TO BE "Donkey kong racing" for the Gamecube, but the game was canceled because RARE split up with Nintendo. They split up because Microsoft offered them more money. Or, mabye the sequel to this game was going to be "Diddy kong pilot" which was canceled for the SAME reason as "Donkey kong racing."
