I can't argue at all woth the first point, that prohibition of abortion is harmful. It's 100% accurate.

Also, without safe legal abortion, women who are desperate will either abort themselves and bleed to death or go to a back alley provider and end up either infected or bleeding. Countries such as the Phillipines and Argentina where abortion is banned, have high rates of women who have had botched abortions.
This video brings up some valid points. Not all children will be adopted. This is true of Black children, especially Black males. These children will languish in the foster care system going from home to home until they age out at 18. Many of them end up dropping out of school, becoming homeless and ending up in prison. The foster care system is so overwhelmed that many children, especially victims of child abuse fall though the cracks every year and end up dead.
To hear the pro-choice crowd tell it, if a mother is in labor and about to deliver, until that baby is expelled from the womb the mother has the right to choose not to have that kid, as if this is some kind of sacrosanct right. There is nothing about that argument I do not find repulsive.
Why abortion will remain legal? A child can suffer, feel hungry, desire the love of a parent or other human being, and all the other things we expect of a conscious entity. The brain only just begins to form by week 3 of gestation. Regardless of its appearance, a 3 week old embryo is still only a clump of cells with no capacity for awareness or even pain. The fetus does have value, but should not be put on the same scale as a baby.

If the woman is harmed in the process of an unsafe abortion, that is her fault. She had the choice of having a baby when she had sex (with the exception of rape).
2.Even if the adoption process is really tough on a child, I bet the child would choose adoption over not ever being born.There is no stronger power than the will to live.

This video brings up some valid points. Not all children will be adopted. This is true of Black children, especially Black males. These children will languish in the foster care system going from home to home until they age out at 18. Many of them end up dropping out of school, becoming homeless and ending up in prison. The foster care system is so overwhelmed that many children, especially victims of child abuse fall though the cracks every year and end up dead.

An embryo is not a child. A child has consciousness, which is a result of a functioning brain. A child can suffer, feel hungry, desire the love of a parent or other human being, and all the other things we expect of a conscious entity. The brain only just begins to form by week 3 of gestation. Regardless of its appearance, a 3 week old embryo is still only a clump of cells with no capacity for awareness or even pain. The fetus does have value, but should not be put on the same scale as a baby.

1. Making abortion illegal will decrease the number of abortions; the illegal unsafe abortions would still be less than the amount of abortions if it were legalized. If the woman is harmed in the process of an unsafe abortion, that is her fault. She had the choice of having a baby when she had sex (with the exception of rape).
2.Even if the adoption process is really tough on a child, I bet the child would choose adoption over not ever being born.There is no stronger power than the will to live.

In the CWIG's report to congress, less than 1% of foster care children are mistreated. So, it's obviously not the foster care program that is influencing the children to come out that way.

@k10edd I completely agree. Abstinence doesn't do anything. What do people do when something is made forbidden? They will do it more. So yeah, like you said, instead of JUST teaching abstinence, schools should teach safe sex techniques. That way, there won't be kids having kids.

2. Take a psychology class to see just how likely a child born to a crack whore is likely to have a better life. Kids born into a dysfunctional family are much more likely to get hooked on drugs ,become criminals, and have kids at a younger age; continuing the cycle

The fetus is a living thing it has been proven that a babies heartbeat starts after the first day of conception. The baby should not have to pay because of the mothers poor choices. The heart ISN'T EVEN FULLY FORMED until the 9th week. At week 9 is when the fetal heart tone may be detected using Doppler. Besides, at first day to the 7th we are merely a cluster of cells. Please do your research before you come on here and spew your incompetence.

At :43, I agree. But very rarely is that the case why a woman gets an abortion these days. It's usually because she doesn't want to own up to her responsibilities and doesn't want to "ruin her body". So I would take that with a grain of salt.

@TheChoujinVirus I support if they abort it because it was a mistake they had no control over (rape) or if they couldn't be healthy carrying a child. But it is hardly the case why women get abortions. It's usually because the condom ripped or they were dumb and thought pulling out would work! When you have sex, you need to be mature enough to accept the risks and if it does happen hone up to your fucking responsibilites.
The baby wasn't put there by "magic." its her choices that did it!
