  • haha well according to the headlights it is yj, but they did not make rubicon yj jeeps. They only had rubicons in tj models. not to be an ass hole but thats inacurate!!!

  • @TheConnoe Not to be an asshole, but who cares???

  • @jizay76 haha u sir are defensive. im not making fun of you and thats why i said not to be an ass hole. I dont do the RC thing but it looks cool and i respect the fact that the technology is very capable and looks like an awesome hobby. I, however, am a jeep fanatic because i own a real one and was just commenting.

  • I know this RC Sold but is just way to cool for not not to say great job.. Wish I would have seen it before..

  • How much for the cc01 wrangler kit

  • I want to build the exact same setup as you. Can you tell what I need to make a complete set? Thanks for your time.

  • @funkyk You can get the Tamiya Wrangler Body & body pieces off ebay or rpphobby. You can the get chassis from RC4WD or rpphobby. The chassis was made for the Tamiya Wrangler body. The wheels and tires are RC4wd 1.9 steel internal beadlock wheels and the tires are 1.9 RC4wd rock crushers. I believe you can get the chassis in a leaf sprung config as well as the link set up like mine. Leaf would be more scale, but the link set up performs better. (in my opinion)...

  • @jizay76 Thanks so much for the reply. As far as getting it running. Does the chassis come with all the linkage and gears or whatever? And I have no experience with RC's. How about the battery. Do I have to wire everthing up myself? What kind of battery. Sorry for lack of my rc knowledge but I really appreciate your help,

  • @funkyk There will be some building skill and electronics knowledge needed. The chassis kit comes with all the hard parts you need and the transmission. I believe it comes with wheels and tires as well, just not the ones I had on my rig. It comes with stiff shocks as well. I replaced them with Axial SCX10 Shocks. This might not be the right kit for you if it's your first RC rig. You might want to look at a ready to run axial SCX10. I work for an online rc shop and we carry these trucks.

  • Check out our site. google "atomicmods". I sell everything you would need to going. You can call me if you have any questions.

  • @jizay76 Thanks so much for your help. I offroad in my Jeep and would really like to in the rc world as well. I'll take a look on your website. I'm stationed overseas in Belgium otherwise I'd give you a call. Hopefully I can figure out this rc stuff. I am really familiar with the real thing so I might catch on fast.

  • @jizay76 Okay, I just checked out your website and I'm pretty sure I'm gunna go with this guy, Axial AXI90016 Trail Honcho SCX10 1/10 RTR Scale Truck. Just a couple of questions. Does your site ship to military APO address? Will a Jeep body fit on this frame? And does this kit preform realistically if I drive it slow?

  • @funkyk I've got 3 scalers and that honcho is one of them and I love it. There is a 4 door rubicon lexan body that pro-line makes for the scx10 and we carry it. Shoot me an email to my work email. It'll be a little easier to answer all your question. We do ship to APO's, so no issue there. We also give a military discount! My work email is jay at atomicmods. c0m. Thanks.

  • which engine have?

  • cool

  • no one knows how to clock an axle so the pig isn't a ground clearance issue. every kit I see is parallel and the caster is fixed.

  • @f1freak1964 You can clock a Wheely King axle fairly easy. With a little modification of course...

  • where did you get the kit for this?

  • @spidermonkey237 You can buy the kit in leaf spring form, or the way I had it in the 4 link set up. You can buy them directly through RC4WD.c0m

  • when u said u broke the snorkel u said u were going to make it out of stiren what is stiren and how do u make parts out of it

  • @77rockcrawler... If you already haven't, Google search "building with styrene" You should come up with some good results. You can order or pick up the stuff from any hobby store that sells trains, rc, models etc... If you look on the different RC crawler forums there are a lot of threads about it.

  • @Z40009 A $525.00 I believe.

  • how much

  • @TheRcmaster99 Sold it a while back.

  • i wont is how much

  • Is this just like the Jeep Wrangler 4WD kit in the Tower Hobbies magazine? I like it, do you still have it? how much?
