  • That would suck so much if he dropped that box all over the floor...

  • I took a class for this in junior high. they start you off with a coffee can with all the type mixed up in it and you have to distribute it all correctly into the wooden boxes!

  • This makes me appreciate page layout software like Adobe InDesign or Quark Xpress. This was definitely a skill as well as an art!

  • I have to agree - I can't believe they used to make newspapers like that - can you imagine.

  • Newspapers were set on Intertype or Linotype machines. Hand setting was used by the jobbing printers for business cards, letterheads, invoices etc.

  • Goddamn, I can't believe I watched the whole thing. It's so boring, yet so fascinating... Ahhh!!! 50's videos are weird.

  • That's awesome and I think the way he explains is kinda funny, typically 50/60's!
