what I do is take a 1/8'' cord and plug it from the ds' headphone jack to the line in or mic in jack of my computer. then I use the program "Audacity" and while pressing play on the ds so it plays my song, I press record in Audacity. that will record the music onto your computer. you may have to adjust some volume settings on your computer for it to work (mic volume, or turn off "mic boost" if it's too loud)
