He spun! Not many players can score a goal from the blueline by wristshot. I heard Kovalev is one of them. He should be allowed to play as a defender in powerplays. That's what I've heard.
before saying anything about Kovy , which i consider one of the greatest, having played with players like Gretzky, Messier, Lemieux, Straka, Francis, and many others.
People should read the book is father wrote: The Road to Success. the book was published in 1994 and finishes when he gets drafted.
he had a hard life, and knows the struggle. and learnt the hard way !!!!
nobody has the same skill with the stick, i cant remember if theres ever been one, combined with his awesome shot hes probably one of the most skilled players ever... to bad he hasnt got any determination (compared to rest of the nhl players)
Yaa true but the thing is he isnt goin too have ppl stand there and alsoo wat hes doin is very hard he doesnt even touch anythin wit his skates and puck but i see what u are sayingg
Nobody in life ever achieves 100% of their assumed potential. yeah you're right, Kovalev probably isn't as good as he could be but that's obviously not because he wants to practice every once in awhile by stickhandling through pucks and waterbottles.
Kovy with the soft hands!

the problem is the game is much more than just pucks and water bottles... that's why Kovy isn't the great player he can be.
