now that you mentioned, theres a song from doom 2 (Running From Evil, mission 31) that sounds like sodom's axis of evil. however the sodom's song is from 2006 and doom 2 is from 1994.

Yes, the song name is a bit odd, but the information is very accurate, ghostmarco. The song name in Doom 2: Hell on Earth Ost(Original Soundtrack) is Bye Bye American Pie. The song was played on the level, Barrels of Fun, map 22, ghostmarco. Suiton1 should have the song on Youtube, so check it out and see if I'm wrong.

Great comparison! But E1M1 on Doom II has two ripoffs. Hangar 18 + Pull Me Under by Dream Theater. You know the kinda catchy part after the Hangar 18 part in Doom 2, that's from Pull Me Under. Because there's a keyboard stick or something, in the chorus of the song (in the background) Wich sounds fairly similiar to Doom 2.
