Normally, its the legs being amputated -cut off- anywhere above the knees, through the femur. In his case, it may even be as high as the hips, losing his legs entirely, but i dont know how he would move the stilts

you just have to look closely. i think he might be a midget who is very flexible. the moment they cut him with the chainsaw you can see his feet at the end of the torso. look closely at 00:19...

ITS EASY when they lift him off the table and put him on the smaller table you can see that his knees are folded up to his chest. the green top covers it and when they put the legs beside him he slips into them and walks on them. they probably have stilts at the bottom...
