This is ART! Eastwood is far better as director than he is as an actor, and he is a legendary actor. I don't even know where to begin describing the genius of this fantastic movie. WISDOM would be the most describing word, if I am not to write an entire book.

As an atheist I think the message of being christ-like and not christian is very beautifully expressed in this movie.

that was the whole point, he sacrificed himself to save tao. because he knew he couldnt kill them all and if he did then he was risking them coming after tao and his family without protection.
