by the way i suffered the same loss not being able to tour the elevators as freely post-9/11 :( I started contacting building managers to ask for permission..I found that some were happy to help ! Is so sad ..I really think that it would make things easier for all to form an official society. As far as I know, there's not much to it. Its as simple as picking a name (ie "US Electronic-Lift Society" :) and chip in for some printup cards, having regular meetings, rules, votes, objectives ect

I found out that it is i die cast matchbox (that you painted), and I found out the model name of it.(i cant remember it though) Then I found out that there are alot of them at Ebay ect..so i ordered one for like 99 cents.! Visited the twin towers in 1998 (trip to US and Canada) with many happy memories, my mother was educated in NJ and later went to England, she will never know this terrible deed,the world has changed for the worse, but remember there are good people out there and we must build a good and safe world for the future,with leadership from the US and UK. Also. Dieselducy #1 is fine. In reality I guess dd#1 is the true dieselducy as I actually got him BEFORE dieselducy which technically was dieselducy#2. It is still hard to deal with and yes the show will go on as long as you guys want me to keep going. Also thanks for everyones support and please keep praying about this. God in reality is bigger than all this and if indeed it was stolen, they may have the actual piece of pot metal but I still have the true spirit of dieselducy.
