@RobbyBensonScrapbook oh yes..it's very much like that! By the way I looked at your website and it's amazing! i love it! thanks for uploading these vids and the website!
RB Scrapbook here, replying from my other channel..:) Someone posted the entire movie in 13 parts because I had problems with my disc. I made a playlist under my Robby channel with all the parts. This movie was so funny! =-P
maybe i got the other movie name wrong,i thought it was robbie, it was about a kid who has a brain infliction, he gets better but then turns worse again and i think he dies and there are test mice in it too.
Hey, I was replying to you under my other channel. sorry! Robby was also in a movie called 'Death be not proud.' It was based on a book/true story about a young man inflicted with a brain tumor. He was fantastic in that. He does die at the end. That must be the movie. :)
the young guy with glasses at the beginning, is that the guy who played evil ed from fright nite? and also wasnt robbie benson in a movie called flowers for algenone ?
No that wasn't evil Ed, I can't think of the other actor's name, but that was Bud Cort in Die Laughing, he's much older than him. Robby wasn't in Flowers for Algernon, though I can see him in it.
You must be thinking of 'Two of a kind' a tv movie where Robby plays a mentally disabled young man that wants to help his grandfather, played by George Burns. I love that film, but it's not on DVD. Robby was terrific in that one.
I'm Sorry for the late reply, haven't logged in in a while. Robby Benson wrote all the original music for this film, and unfortunately a soundtrack was ever released, I'm trying to eventually upload the whole movie, but my programs are giving me issues.
The guy playing the harmonica to Robby's left in the recording studio scene is Charles Fleischer, who had a (tiny) cameo in 'One on One' (look for him playing a trumpet during the beginning scene when Robby is playing high school basketball), and who is most famous as the voice of 'Roger Rabbit' (1988). I'm guessing he and Robby knew each other, otherwise...
That's true. He also had a bit role in Back to the Future 2 as Biff's long-suffering mechanic and in the future he's collecting money to save the clock tower.
robby has a real nice singing voice.

In his review of this movie, Leonard Maltin describes the Mueller character as "disgustingly oily".

The guy with the sunglasses is Peter Coyote, his first film actually.

OF course!! I totally knew that it was Coyote and his name slipped my mind when I commented. I like him, he's a good actor.
