  • Personally,I don't like the .357 version of the P226. I find that it has entirely too much recoil for accuracy. The 9mm is way better for accuracy in my opinion.

  • @IGotTheMurderWeapon Recoil happens after the round has left the muzzle. The only thing that will make you less accurate is if the recoil scares you into flinching on the followup shots.

  • @absolutsoju not true.physics prove it.recoil happens the moment the bullet starts to move."felt" recoil happens later.recoil happens nomatter if you are afraid or not.the 357 Sig IS more snappy than a 9mm(in the same platform) anyway, the 357 sig is generally more accurate than a 9mm.i have all 3 barrels(and springs) in my 226,and the 357 is the most accurate, for me anyway.

  • @308scoutrfl I can see that. But I also think that felt recoil can also affect follow up shots, so dont think its completely untrue. I too have a P226 in 357 and a BarSto 9mm too. The 9mm has much more manageable follow up accuracy than the 357, though in slowfire, I prefer my 357.

  • i got one just like it i love it. only problem is the ammo is so freaking expensive

  • I second that! Very nicely done. I'm amazed you were so confident -- your first time shooting and you're saddled with a pistol, and one chambered in .357 Sig no less. And that was good shooting. Keep it up!

  • The Sig's are very easy to aim and stay on target easily due to their substantial weight. My P-226 .40S&W is awesome.

  • Not bad at all!
