  • i have never seen a snake that big in britian before, what happened to the snake?

  • nerd

  • its not a grass snake its a garter

grass snakes are green and skinny

  • its a grass snake. garter snakes live in north america. this snake is in southern england.

  • you should move them somewhere else if you want i mean because those thing are gonna eats all the fish you got in there no doubt

  • grass snakes are also grey. by the way what do i feed a baby grass snake. and i mean a baby.

  • @WAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAP gold fish.

  • @tehboyshow your stupid. thats all

  • Arrrrrr Lil Grass snake... So cute! They are not venomous and If cornered do make a horrendous smell and play dead. Why are people so scared of snakes? Only a small percentage of snakes are actually poisonous. My dad used to keep both adders and grass snakes as pets. You ask why? ...Well they didnt have PS3 back ten.

  • grass snakes are VERY timid they have no teeth and defend themselves by farting and playing dead it is illegal to kill them in the uk but you can legally capture one and keep it as a pet

  • FARTING?! Is that a blag?

  • no it isnt a grass snake fart stinks worse than your average grandmas

  • i would have to move if fucking snakes were in my garden.

  • ha! me too!

I wonder if he enjoyed his dip in your pond :D

  • i want to see a grass sanke put i dont know were they are mostly were are they ?

  • Hey man, if you ever get a plague of snakes you could send me some for my pond. I've been trying to create the ultimate habitat for grass snakes, but we're at the Northern end of their breeding range - so it may be a while before they turn up... check out my videos to see my pond

  • I never knew grass snakes grew that long.

  • Well, they are Britains largest snake :P

  • no they arent the adder is

  • Thats well smart, is this in britain?

  • yup

  • what a fantastic sight i am so jealous you have such wildlife in your pond, and great filming.

  • Fantastic vid. I saw a grass snake in my garden pond the other day. I'm afraid it's going to eat all my frogs and great crested newts though. They are amazing creatures though. They seem to look bigger on camera than they do in real life don't they? This and the slow worm are my favourite british reptiles. The sand lizard is stunning as well.

  • What a great bit of video, always liked grass snakes (which it is one, cotton mouth? you having a larf?) stunning markings on them & two good examples there, thanks for uploading.

  • Thanks, glad you like it. At last someone who knows their snakes!!

  • are these types poisonous?

  • That is NOT a cotton mouth.

  • umm yea no grass snake looks more then a cottonmouth

  • Ummm thats not a grass snake... thats a cottonmouth...

  • They are grass snakes. There are no Cottonmouth snakes in southern England.

  • I know that, I live in England, but its colours are to odd for a grass snake, maybe its an escaped pet or something :)

  • Maybe he just smoked a big joint and he is a grass snake with the cottonmouth. That is a possibility. It might be why he ended up in the pond in the first place!

  • makes sense, makes me wonder how it could have afforded that joint though, its very hard for snakes to get jobs nowadays :)

  • are you being serious or joking??

  • wat do u think dumshit?

  • wtf fuck you on wi i ant even commented on this vid???????

  • They look like cotton mouths. Id watch out for more.

  • wow they are the biggest grass snakes i have seen

  • they remind me of miniature anacondas

  • They are wild ones that just arrived, stayed one day and left.

  • are those your snakes or wild ones?

  • so cute
