Brighthouse is pretty bad where I live (Central Florida). Slim pickings having to pick an internet provider. Brighthouse sits pretty knowing that they're the only game in town, so what't the point in being competitive? Hopefully one innovative company will come along and take that piece of the market's pie, offering good internet service and solid cable service.

shit i agree bright house sucks i have the hd box and i have hbo. so when i watch hbo in hd it freezes shows sometimes my box cuts off by itself and starts over. I also go on demand just to watch my shows i picked one loads and it says error i was watching family guy on adult swim than a menu shows up and say cartoon network is currently unavailible even though its showing fine wtf?

Cal. my interface looks a little more updated but its just cosmetic and is still just as shit as it was before and yet this is the only cable provider unless u want satellite here... btw i fucking love Sunny and kitten mittens is the shit haha
well i can tell u direct tv has been sucky over the past six months, their internet century link gives me redbar on xbox360 when i play call of duty or halo etc.. and my nat type is strict ive tried everything even getting a new router but it doesnt want to work so we are switching over to brighthouse roadrunner, mainly for their internet cable high speed. i love it !!! besides the tv isnt horrible you just have to know how to work it. i used to have bright house and we are switching back to it.
Rofflwaffle: One other thing, "Sunny in Philadelphia" does come on at odd times like 10:01pm or 10:35pm, but the DVR from Brighthouse should be able to let you set up the recording time a few minutes before and after if you want to get the whole show. I'm saying that because when I watch TV at my parents house their satellite does show the starting time at a odd time, and as far as the wrong episode being aired that happens with their TV Guide too, so it could be a mistake by FX networks, maybe.
Rofflwaffle: I agree with you about BrightHouse sucking ass! In the Orlando area where I live if your complex doesn't allow Satellite the only way to get TV is by getting BrightHouse. They are way over priced and don't even carry channels I like such as NFL Network or Boomerang and if you want IFC (Independent Film Channel) or Sundance you have to pay extra for either one. I'm even thinking about cancelling but one of the few reasons to even have TV is to watch "Sunny".

You should google how to set up your router and if you still can't figure it out hire someone to do so or buy a new router that works. If you have internet on any computers then bright house is working, the rest is on you. As for the new guide and dvr software it had some glitch's no worse then when Vista came out but they are working on it be patient and call to let them know so they can look into the issue.
Aesus1: Analog ch's don't tile, it is impossible. If by some ungodly chance you did see it tile it could very well be coming from the network itself not bright house. It kills me that you would even complain aside from your association fees you don't pay for cable so its practically free, take your cheap ass to the store and get a cable box. Oh dish is so much better, yeah after 200 dollars in equipment and a charge for the install and every service call, did i mention a storms? Ass

Secondly, yes, the analog feed does have pixelation and freezing issues, it's not a network issue when it's every fucking channel at the same time. I've used both DirectTV and DishNetwork, at the homes of friends and families. 10 years ago, DirectTV had a better setup than Brighthouse does now. Record in one room and watch in another? I think DishNetwork has had that feature for what, 5 years now? My DVR that I have with Brighthouse doesn't even come close to what DishNetwork had 5 years ago. If I could get faster cable with the dish and I wasn't already locked into BH by my HOA fees

I just switched from Bright House to FIOS and wow am I so glad I did.
Your DVR/guide looks different from what mine did. My guide looked like it was from the 80s.
