It's referencing River's GF Martha Plimpton's story about River crying after she ate crab at a NYC restaurant. My problem is that their question is nonsensical b/c they're implying a vegan would NOT cry about crabs being eaten. Studies have shown lobsters and crabs to feel pain, so it's not like with mollusks... why wouldn't a vegan cry over crabs?
