Making a pot of traditional Moroccan mint tea

Oh my. I love Moroccan Mint tea and knew it had an amazingly different flavor than anything I had ever tasted but I had no idea it was such an elaborate process. Now I want to get a pot, grow some mint (apparently the fresh must be best) and make tea for all the people I love! Thank you for sharing this.

I love a well-made Moroccan tea. I went to a fine restaurant in Casablanca and I had an exceptional tea made of three different types of mint. It was exquisite. The Moroccans playfully call their tea, "Moroccan whiskey!" To me, its the best tea there is. Our teas don't compare to Moroccan tea, I mean, they're made from dry tea in little tea bags, whereas Moroccans fill their pots with tons of fresh mint! It's very therapeutic and healthy.

@gillianlall they use gunpowder green tea or loose leaf green tea, a big bunch of fresh spearmint (na3na3), lots of sugar & the first water is to take out the bitterness of the strong tea, then they add more boiling water, the mint & sugar :O)
