All women aged between 25 and 64 are invited for cervical screening. Being screened regularly means that any abnormal changes in the cervix can be identified early on and, if necessary, treated to stop cancer developing.
It is estimated that early detection and treatment can prevent up to 75% of cervical cancers from developing.
In the UK, cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in women under 35 (after breast cancer). About 2,800 women a year are diagnosed with cervical cancer.
The NHS Cervical Screening Programme aims to reduce the number of women who develop cervical cancer and the number of women who die from the disease.

I'm from Spain and I only had heard about jade goody when she was in bb5 and all that problem with shilpa happened.
But since all the TV's explained her cancer was terminal I remembered her and I started watching all the videos about her, and I realize she was a good person, because we all make mistakes sometimes.
I admire how strong she was during the treatment.
I would like to have her strengh in that circumstances.

I'm from Spain and I only had heard about jade goody when she was in bb5 and all that problem with shilpa happened.
But since all the TV's explained her cancer was terminal I remembered her and I started watching all the videos about her, and I realize she was a good person, because we all make mistakes sometimes.
I admire how strong she was during the treatment.
I would like to have her strengh in that circumstances.

How lovely to find a channel with positive thoughts on Jade and none of the vitriolic filth that is all over the net. Whatever you're thoughts on her career the fact remains that she was young, she was a wife, a daughter, a grandaughter and a mother. this is so awful to happen to such a young person. People who leave nasty comments need to show respect. Cancer is awful and nobody deserves it. I lost my dad to cancer when i was 9 years old so my thoughts are with the family and the boys <3
