  • gee it is very noisey with the jets once they are at peek power levels

  • @rainbow6vegaslover Wow, please never comment about aviation ever again. They are not jets, they are PROPELLERS!! AHAHAHAHAH IDIOT!!!

  • @matthmatthmatth fuck you

  • I love your videos!

They are really awsome to watch sense I want to become a pilot when im older.!

  • i've been with ba since 1992, i said my months were up a decade ago :)

ba run ab-initio prgms, look into it, (you do not need to be british). good luck!

  • air canada is air coach right?

do you want to fly for ba?

    nice video

  • BA is much better than Air Canada in many ways! Any European or Asian airline is. I would fly for BA as a PILOT any time but i'm not British. My months as a flight attendant are numbered :)

  • @speedbird6431 I'd rather fly for any airline than be picky...

  • @CA477544 ok.... I'm not picky! I have my preferences but I will never turn down an opportunity

  • @speedbird6431 Fair enough, I guess we all have preferences.

  • @speedbird6431 Plus, Canadian airlines are better than American airlines any day of the week, for regionals anyway.

  • @speedbird6431 How is any European or Asian airline better than Air Canada? They are all good for pilots!

  • @maxou5757 Flying is flying, but a lot of European and Asian airlines are known to have better standards and a higher pay scale

  • @speedbird6431 I know pay scales of most airlines and I can assure you that they all are about the same. Maybe those airlines have better service for passagers, but certainly not for pilots. An Air Canada 777' captain can earn up to 200k a year, a captain on the A320 starts at about 100k a year and increase each year.

  • @speedbird6431 I've been on many BA flights which I found to be quite poor and have been on some that have been pretty decent. Air Canada is the same way, however, as a pilot, you fly for the airline that has the best combination of pay, schedule, lifestyle and opportunity. BA does not offer the same as Air Canada in this regard.

  • what is more 'intense', taking off or landing the plane? when I fly (as a passenger) I notice fellow travellers are way more uptight during take off..I pretty much stop breathing for 5 mintues til the plane is in the air..

so from your point of view as a pilot/ co pilot , I am curious to know what you find to be a bit more stressful?

  • Both take off and landing are the most critical /dangerous phases of a flight.

  • The absolute most critical part of the flight though is the 90 seconds that is take off. That is when most pilots are probably stressing out the most. Not to down play landing at all but getting the bird in the air is much more of a stressful task. If you think about it this way, when landing you already know your aircraft is fying without any problems, you should be able to get back in the air if something goes wrong, not so much the case if something goes wrong during take off.

  • @mossman8787 I fly Cessna 172's at the moment and takeoff is one of the less stressful parts of the flight. The takeoff is very important and does take a lot of focus because at such low speeds and a low altitude stall can occur if your not careful. The landing is the hardest part, especially determining the altitude that you flare or "round out" at.

  • I fly cessna's and the landing is more stressful because the approach has to be pretty good to make it down. plus more thing can effect landing more, like wind that influences landing more than takeoff in my eyes. does that answer your question?

  • @rhymeandreasoning Although I'm not an airplane pilot I fly Cessna's and takeoff is relatively easy compared to the landing.

  • nice :D
