I've just finished playing the Demo on Dragon Age 2.. Want to hear what I THINK?

I am dissapointed in the game:| THe combat feels faster, yet it is too much combat,the enemies die pretty much too hard, it doesn't feel realistic at all as it did in the first game, and the character movement/atacks don't have the same feel as they had in DA:O...

I want DA:O 2 :(

Yes the fighting action sucks for most Bioware RPG games, but these games have been extremely successful because of the depth of the stories and the details of the game itself (items, acting, character choices, quests etc.). I've played Neverwinter Nights and Knights of the Old Republic, and I loved it. I certainly didn't play it for the action, LOL. That's not what these games are about.

THIS GAME SUCKS, NOW I SEE IT. No dismemberment, no limb chopping, boring enemy death's, boring combat system, enemys have to much hp, the only death animation the enemy's have, is falling boring to the ground.

@ProTheHacker I agree. I understand this is what some people wanted, A return to original baldurs gate style. But cmon.. Its so boring. Its like world of warcraft with less skills. And since the AI and pathing is terrible.you almost always end up controlling your whole party manually. And combat? I personally dislike it. Im 2 feet infront of him, my bow is pointed at his face, I fire, and the game tells me I "missed" . If you took the world, story, conversation choices, with Demon Souls combat..

They should let you actually control the fighting, not just clicking on an enemy and then watching.

It's a tactical party-based combat system, not an action game. You might prefer one over the other, but don't knock the game for being what it is. BioWare knows what they're good at, and this is one of those things.

this game is a super heavy rpg...i played mass effect and mass effect 2 and loved them both....but this game is just toooo much......it takes atleast few hours just to learn basic stuff...its not bad but its not even that good...if i gave mass effect 2 a rating of 10 i would give this a 7 or a 8...

@hedarfoota I never played Mass Effect 1 or 2 but this game definitely didn't take a few hours to learn maybe like 30 to 45 minutes at the most and this game deservers a solid 9.5

it actually works pretty darn well, u can set auto commands like what spells or items to use when their health or the enmies health is low. its a really great game and i advise getting it.

easy to said that everybody want to use a combo on enemy just like X-men:Wolverine origin does or like Oblivion fighthing's system but this game use an old style combat click on enemy to attack and click again again again and again until he's dead can't chose to cut limbs off or something like that. But yes it's wort to buy if you want a real deep rpg playing style and more mature think like The Witcher and you'll get it
