For us Believers in Christ, being in the "river of God" is being in his presence in either worship or prayer. It speaks of seeking after God, who HE is, and waiting for HIM to speak to us. It might not be an audible response, but God does move, sometimes without us realizing it.

What I've been thru since I heard this song in the 90's, the story cannot be fully told. God knows the pain, sorrow and loss I've suffered in the "new millenium". 

There's a reason the Lord gave me the name "prisonerofhope" in 2006. I'm a prisoner of something no one can take from me because they didn't give it to me.

This song was played at a good friends funeral yesterday after a struggle with a drug addiction.

It was the first time i had heard the song, but I will hold it close to my heart.

I was in our church sanctuary praying for my friend's son who was in a comma from a motorcycle accident hours previous. Someone had put this song on the speakers to accompany the quiet intercessors prayer time. I knew this was a way of the Lord revealing to us her son was already in Heaven and waiting there for her. I'd never heard it before that hour. Now my friend finds comfort in this song even as she grieves. Musicians, you never know what your contribution of talent will mean to someone!

Jesus, I've been having a time of hardship where I've felt really down all the time, thank you that when I am experiencing hardship, I know that I'm in the right place because that is where you are Lord. True true...I come from a place of deepest valleys - cancer...loss...grief...regret­...pain...but in those sufferings come offerings and a white knuckled faith that with one hand clings to Our Dear Lord's cross in His Passion and the other to Our Sweet Lady's tear soaked mantle as she watched and waited in moments of deepest sorrow...

In the perpetual river that still flows freely thru Holy Communion with Our Lord blessing and peace are found...
