  • Brings the bar too slow causing loss of energy and fatigue to pectoral muscles. The idea of powerlifting is lifting as much weight as possible and the correct way of accompishing this is by not wasting energy. I would like to see his speed work.

  • I go slow when im maxxing out tho 2, I do it because it feels safer, weight that i can only handle for one rep is dangerous if u drop it fast , if it's just a lb or 2 heavier then u can handle u might drop it on ur sternum
