I really miss this smackdown. JBL was never really credited for what he did for the company. And I think it was totally unfair to let Cena retain at Judgement Day 05. It totally underestimated JBL and dn Cena had to resort to cheap gimmicks and rappinb to carry d weight of d company.

And JBL could also be given a better Farewell.

Brutal as in violent, lol. I enjoyed the match, personally, others didn't. JBL was a really good champion because of his in-ring consistency during his title reign and his mic skills.

Both because JBL is a much better in-ring brawler than he is an in-ring technician. But he's also more injury-prone than most. If he hadn't been plagued by injuries 4 the umpteenth time, he might have won against Rey Mysterio at 'WrestleMania 25.' After all, JBL won titles from Eddie Guerrero (WWE title) and Chris Benoit (US title) [RIP, Eddie and Benoit], and Eddie, Benoit, and Rey were 'The Three Amigos' after The Radicalz split up. I don't think this is the last we've seen of JBL, though.

Well, JBL is actually a commentator for an indie promotion right now. I think it's called "Viper Fight League" or something similar to that.

If he ever does make a return to active competition, which I would love, I just hope they send him out with a better showing than a 16 second loss at Wrestlemania. He deserves better than that, so I'd love to see him make a comeback.

Eddie had all the faith in his Latino Hea(r)t that JBL had the goods 2 B a main-eventer in his own right--all that was needed was the right opportunity and setting 4 JBL 2 and Eddie 2 shine. Yeah its true that JBL and Eddie were best friends in real life. From what JBL said, they were very close. Eddie was even at JBL's wedding. When they said JBL wasn't ready to main event, Eddie stood up for him and said he was ready. They main evented all over the world and the crowds rioted whenever JBL came out. I bet JBL still misses Eddie, may he rest in peace.
