  • You should get a scale that has the metal electrode contact pads on them and then take your weight barefoot, that way it will show your body fat content too. I just got one of them, it works pretty well. But your feet gotta be kinda wet for the most accurate reading, so I usually do it right out of the shower.

  • Hey, your chest looks good. I have a nit of an annoying problem with mine. I have some fat there which looks terrible and I am having a very hard tim getting a balanced chest like yours. The majority of my muscle is on the upper and outer parts. I was wondering if you have any advice to try to get an even and toned chest like yours

  • @supernixi yeah u can just eat healthy...u gotta eat a crapload though...i started as a skinny guy too....when i first started i could do 75 pounds like 10 times maybe...now just last week i did 295 on my 6th set...but anyways...yeah eat clean food..grilled chicken..fruit helps too...the food u eat is makin the muscle so if u want shitty muscles. eat shitty food...works the other way too. lol just eat good food...good muscles...and eat eat eat some more.

  • @castagnols90 as heavy as you can for 10 reps...usually about 3 or 4 sets..except for on bench..i do a pyramid that includes 8-9 sets. and on incline its 6-7 sets.

    supplemntsi reccomend:

    prototype 216 (amino acids- you WILL keep all your gains)

    intravol

    white flood (n.o. product)

    protein:

    weighbolic extreme 60 (puts lean muscle on only 280 calories 60 grams of protein)

    weigh isolate fat-free ( 0 grams of fat 23 grams of protein- GREAT post-workout with a meal)

  • @FUNNzilla yeah its in the book "a scientific approach on bodybuilding" since you want to laugh about it ill tell you about the study. 10 guys got put on HGH. another 10 guys wore 7 sweatshirts while they worked out peeling them off one at a time sweatin like crazy. at the end of 1 month. both parties had the same gains. look it up.

  • @FUNNzilla actually the guy was dr. fredrick hatfield and he was a big powerlifter...the first guy to squat over 1000 pounds. so if you think THAT guy did a dumb study when it comes to working out...you really need to read up on lifting.

  • Nice post, Kevin--even the "creative" web cam usage. If you want to gain muscle mass definitely consider working your legs. More muscular thighs will help you gain weight. Great to see you're making gains.

  • didnt know your upper half can't grow till your lower half grows. is that true or? because ive seen some ppl with big upper bodies but smaller legs

  • it can but it takes alot longer than if you workout your lower body with it. there's a theory that says you're not supposed to start isolating muscle groups in your upper body until you can squat twice your bodyweight 20 times. i still isolate and everything but its just something im trying to go for

  • thanks..its in a book called scientific approach to bodybuilding. they did a study and found that it basically mimics HGH injections (to a certain extent of course) ill have to tell you about it sometimes

  • I assume the sweating has to be in conjunction with working out and can't just be sweating by itself like hanging out in a sauna or steam room. (Otherwise, old guys who hang out in saunas and steam rooms would be buffer.)

  • lol im 5' 10 1/2" i just rounded up the half inch...didnt feel like typing alot lol...and yeah i do..when i first stepped in the gym in could do 135 4 times..and that was a little less than a year a go

  • You are the only bodybuilder I follow. I believe in physical development, but for useful power, not show. The ego trips of some of these guys turn me off. So do bulging veins, which you have avoided. You are completely different, humble, friendly, willing to explain what you do and why you do it, and to help others. You hardly mentioned your arms this time, and you've made a lot of progress. For me, your physical progress isn't the key. You are a fine young gentleman!
